Keeping this forum kid friendly, bud! (pm on the way. haha)
The Tick...Man, monkey, you got me dying to dig up my old VHS. I loved that episode when the Tick flies to South America, his plane crashes, and he's walking through the jungle and finds another crashed plane. He stares and deadpan says "Disturbing trend." and walks on. Love it.

I can indeed help with the Mindbender should we ever be given the chance to purchase them.
Generally, I started to draw on my desk when the good Dr Ciocca and his pupil went off on a tangent not related directly to our modern physics class, but lets see. Hadrons, quarks leptons, all those theoretical subatomic doo-dads that only exist in a text book so far... |

...Generally, my own opinion on gravity and how it works is more related to the centripetal attraction that exists between all atoms in the universe. Since electrons orbit about bundles of protons and neutrons and these in turn generate a gravitation field that attracts other atoms thus creating mass that acts like an even bigger molecular magnet that keeps me, my house and all my cool stuff stuck to the surface of the Earth...
And also plays a role in the moon orbiting, but never really colliding with the planet. Well, not yet anyway. We take that guy for granted, but it's only a matter of time before something shifts and sends it hurling into us. The idea can be further expanded to include all known bodies of significant mass or relative size in our universe, I suppose. Some modern scientist have concluded that a giant black hole may be in the center of our universe acting as some sort of gravity well about which we all rotate. And it certainly does go back to how gravity works when you think about it. Or so I reckon, but I think I got a B in the class. |

I suppose I should mention that centripetal motion is also somewhat theoretical at least according to my 101-102 teacher.

Oh and the Amazon.uk suggests that Tick Season three was indeed released. So who knows.

I took a minor in physics at univ. My highlight was this moment in 2nd year quantum.
Teacher- "So we see that when super heated, dense metals produce radio waves. Anyone know what these waves are called?" I raise my hand, "Heavy metal music." truly it was a golden moment.

Upon further understanding of a soap room, I do believe we've come close to full circle on the whole champagne room conversation. Unless one is bold enough to suggest a Champagne tomb.
