The turtles are great and I hear the latest batches don't have lazy eyes like my first Leo and Donnie. What sucks is that BBTS seems to only sell by the case on TMNT Classics and the prices for wave two went up by nearly forty bucks.

They have been in stock at Targets and Walmarts. I may have to finally grab them.

Be it that any of you fine gentlemen are learned in the ways of photoshopping?
I have need of turning the image below into a white tiger with green eyes: |

That's simple enough if you have the right tool... which I don't. I haven't had Photoshop in years, and I've never been able to get used to the quirks of GIMP (or even get it to run correctly most of the time). I can try muddling through GIMP later tonight, see if I can get something done without it crashing.

Ended up using Seashore, which is an extremely basic editor that I dislike... but at least it doesn't crash like GIMP did after 3 minutes or so. I miss Photoshop something fierce, but it's just too damn expensive if I'm only going to use it for the occasional edit. Last edited by Hellion42; 02-05-2013 at 04:28 AM.. |

Whoo fucking hoo... You rock, Hellion. I take back any one thing I may've said to offend you. Your pick. So make it count.
Now, you know how to make a water slide decal? Wrench, I am not. I tend to stick to only one or two sites at a time so that I don't lose myself in social media. Though I will keep the advice in mind for later ventures. So, getting back Irid's question from a while ago, I saw the six inch SW figures... Gotta say, I'm not that impressed by the X-Wing Luke. Basically looks like an upscaled 3 3/4" figure in all regards. Maybe had the articulation been more like the Marvel Legends or something I'd bite. As it is, however, I'm good without. |

It's all good HR. Hellion did a good job on the tiger.

Thank you gents. I'm actually not 100% pleased with it, but if you guys don't notice what's wrong, I guess it's all good.
As for making a decal, I've never done it before. But I would assume one would start with a decal printing kit and a printer that worked well with it. You might want a higher-res image than the tiger though, unless you're planning on making a very small decal. Your printer is very likely to have a much higher resolution than your monitor, making printed graphics look smaller and/or embiggened. This looks handy. *reads* To a point. This gives a better application method. (I love this guy's work btw.) Last edited by Hellion42; 02-06-2013 at 04:23 AM.. |

The only thing I see is the tongue being a little lighter in the touched up image. But that's nothing.
Actually, the onscreen size is about right for me... but that'll come with trial and error, I suppose. It's going to go on the MP-12 mold at some point if I get the nerve to do the custom. Edit: Meant MP-12. Not 13. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 02-07-2013 at 06:26 AM.. |
