Transformers confuse me now.
I am stepping into the 21st century of computing devices. My iPad will arrive on Monday. |

As for Prime, I don't know. My Takara Version is just fine with the chest panels. No screw issues, no scratches... Nothing. I've taken my TRU-Prime's screw down as far as they appear to want to go and I don't think that there is an issue there anymore but the two tiny little scuffs say otherwise. Or perhaps I didn't get them down far enough in my first attempt to resolve the issue. And turning the matrix around either way doesn't seem to make a difference in the matter.

There is nothing confusing about this, certainly? Quote:
So... For those that don't recognize it, that's a Detolf from Ikea. But, a dilemma: My MPs won't fill it, it's not big enough to hold all of my Alts or CHUGs, and the sizing is damn awkward for Joes. Ideas? Riser recommendations? |

Turns out the same guy who does toy shows does antiques and collectibles shows (read: flea markets), so there were no toys this time. :(

Dude, I just put it together after having had it sit around in a ridiculously heavy box since August. Sucks that Ikea won't ship large stuff up your way, but even if they did it would probably break the bank, if not get broken itself. This thing is heavy and fragile. |

Okay, so I was wrong:
Seems my MPs fill this sucker just fine. Probably going to demote MP01 to storage (). The Hasbro Rodimus/Takara MPRP trailer combo was just there because I wanted a reminder of how fail Space Winnebago mode was. 2nd shelf is empty but reserved for the 3 seekers once transformed. Still not sure what to do with Megatron. Kind of wishing the spacing was better between the shelves... there's a lot of dead space in there. I'm thinking acrylic risers, but as far as I know stuff like that is only available from places like The Container Store, which charges you twice the practical price for a product, and another 1-2 times as much to trick insecure rich people into thinking they're paying for quality when they're really just getting fleeced. Let's see if I can find a sample: *searches* Ah, here we are: The Container Store > Acrylic Risers $8 for a single piece of plastic. And we thought action figure prices were bad. Can I add shelves to this I wonder? *googles* That was easy: Beyond Basics: IKEA Detolf Modification: Adding Additional Shelves - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards And as a bonus, my dad is a glazier by trade. These things could work for my Alts after all... Not sure Joes would work though. These are pretty deep, and appropriately-sized risers would get expensive quickly. |

Someday, I'm going to have to start investing in display shelving. The brown boxes are starting to breakdown.

Hellion, Big Lots sometimes carries acrylic risers as "spice racks" and such. I can just about guarantee they'll be cheaper there than at the Container store.
