My way to eat mac and cheese starts with a box of uncooked pasta, a lot of good cheddar and parmesan, cream, butter, paprika, bay leaf, egg, panko bread crumbs, etc..

I see letters that appear to form words related to food. But everything past... "butter" is a mystery. No, wait, I see "leaf" and "egg" and a few more in there. Like a seek and find.

I like homemade mac and cheese as much as the next guy, but I'll never understand why someone decided to put bread crumbs on it.

If you're making it on the stove top, you wouldn't, but if you're baking it, bread crumbs+grated parmesan (grated off an actual piece of cheese, not that powdery shit in a green can - might as well be soap flakes) on top makes an outstanding and delicious crust.

I recently used the word "blithe" to describe another's inability to read before he posts and I wonder, "did I use it properly?"
Then I realize my good friend Irid is some sorta education person and I think I recall him being all about his English and a bit of a food snob [...not that I'm judging...] and I went on for a few minutes about the qualifications of a "food snob" in my head. Lost track of time, decided that gourmet mac and cheese counts to settle the debate in my head, came back to this, googled "gourmet" to verify I spelled that correct [as I am addressing a suspected English teacher] and wondered about the use of quotes thus far in this post. Now I'm lost again... let me read it once more. Okay... right so, if I have to explain again that he's not reading things and appears to be talking out of his ass, I'm going to just use pictures. Namely: Of course, I'm stuck now as to which one of these humorous images to use to finish out my equations: Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 08-27-2012 at 04:01 AM.. |

My takeaway from all of that is that Ren and Stimpy are awesome. And Sideswipe is too freaking small.

Hicks, fear not, for I don't correct anybody's grammar on the internet unless they're paying me to do so, rates for which start at $40/hr for basic tutoring, while professional editing goes on a per-word price. I won't write anything FOR you, though, a piece of niggling ethical conscience I haven't managed to drown in booze yet, but Lord knows I could probably fund quite a collection if I went into the paper-writing business.
That being said, I'm not really sure what those equations mean, and your use of blithe certainly passes my sniff test.

I think those equations mean the days of GI Joe being at retail are numbered. Did I pass?

Hah... only if you read that one guy's predictions of gloom and doom. You know, that one guy, keeps screaming, "Death of the Line..." when something doesn't go his way. Or was it, "Death to the Line!"?
Anyway, to decode: Sharky: Hasbro and TRU make MP Prime Sharky: Happy Sharky: What about Sideswipe and Soundwave? Me: Hasbro and TRU make MP Prime and Thundercracker Me and Sharky: Happy Me: MP Sideswipe and Soundwave from Hasbro? Debatable, maybe through TRU or possibly even Amazon or even BBTS. Bujo: Sideswipe and Soundwave have been up at BBTS for a while now. Me: Yes, but not Hasbro releases, go back and read Sharky's post. Bujo: Nah, I think I'll just keep talking from my ass. Thanks though. I may've freestyled that last part a bit. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 08-28-2012 at 04:15 AM.. |
