Very narrow.
So whose economy would I be helping by buying a carded Footloose that I don't want for myself, but to stash away for trade bait during next year's con season? |

Uh, well, the Convention money goes back into the Club. That money pays the staff... the staff spends it on cheap plastic crap made in China but whose marketing is owned by companies often based in the US...

The Black Dynamite Christmas episode. Worth the watch.

Anyone get in on the Footloose action? I grabbed a carded, unsigned one. I already have a loose one obviously.

I picked up a loose and carded (unsigned). I checked in around 1:15, just as the site was getting blown up. I eventually got a cart and all, but then checkout 404'd. Got around that by trying a different browser on a different computer. Don't ask why that made a difference, but it did.

Picked up the non-signed versions (both of 'em). Was on around 1 for the store blowing up, but finally got through around 1:45. I had the same experience as Hellion - lots of problems, then when I switched it was smooth as silk.

If you decided to go back and get the loose one I know someone who'd take it off of your hands.

Sweet, that's two down on my short list of people who would get preferential treatment during a Footloose trade.

So, gents, I've run into a bit of a wall. I'd like to move away from ISP-provided email for two reasons. One, switching providers becomes a hassle as everything has to be changed. Two, my current provider blocks so much shit, even with the spam filter off, that I can't trust it. I use webmail for some things, and it's okay... I use aim and such for forum signups etc. Yahoo doesn't have pop access without paying, so I avoid it if I can. I don't trust google with anything, especially since they have so much already.
So, I figured the best route would be to register my own domain, so I can take the addresses with me indefinitely, and find an email host. Countless stories about repeated blacklisting, poor service/support, registration anonymization gone wrong, and all sorts of fun little pitfalls has me rethinking this. So if anyone has any thoughts/advice, I'm all ears. |

Sidewalk Screamer - Boys - Big Wheels The Original Big Wheels
Ah man... if this were decked out in Grey and Black and had a peeling He-Man sticker on it it'd be like I was five years old again. As for email, I use hotmail. I don't care if there are evils I'm ignorant to attached to it... honestly, I don't care. I notice it has slowed down considerably over the last year though. But whatever, it's free and I haven't gone over my usage yet nearing 1600 messages that probably 80% of can be deleted. And in the spirit of this thread, it is August which means I am currently waiting on: Four Ninja Turtles [Classics] Two iGear PP05s One MP-11S And possibly one 1/6 scale Ironman MK I Armor... Provided it's "early" third quarter. Yes, I know what you're thinking, "He said he was done, right?" Well, this is certainly better than all the Joe Crap I could've been out buying.
