Wow, I don't know, I think that the official scale was 1:32... Like Hellion, I never picked up the figures from this line. The hybrid movie/G1 look never did much for me... and I was a little hurt that they canned Binaltech just to do the same thing in a smaller scale.
Man, I miss the Binalt days. More like, take that, large expensive playset! They don't sell, just like ugly spindly female figures don't sell. -_- |

Developing the bad habit of staying up super late on my summer break to write (during the school year I'm usually doing so from about 9:30 to 11, now it's like till 2:30 am) and I'm remembering now why it was always a bad idea in college; the unbelievable late night hunger.
God, I could just FUCK UP some chicken and waffles right now.

God, I could just FUCK UP some chicken and waffles right now. ...Stupid White Castle and Steak'n Shake close at around midnight now. So no use in them anymore. As for a BT Magnus, I was always hoping for something more like this with a Motormaster repaint. Quote:
As for Alternity Goldbug... As a "grown up" version of Bumblebee, it stands to reason he'd be as tall as any other Autobot [on average]. And I was never one for the whole "minibot" thing, so is my head, Cliffjumper and the like would be based on the their alt mold size in reality rather than some toy predisposition. I hear you on the minibots. If anything, make the alt mode in scale, and make them a bit shorter in bot mode to keep the spirit of it. And for sanity's sake don't make any more enormous Powerglides.
In my Binalt fantasies, I tried to stay away from rigs and other large vehicles that would be absolutely enormous in 1:24. Even this would be huge: (add fanciful 2nd deck that naturally becomes armor) I went the other direction mostly. I felt that personal recreational vehicles could add a spark to the line: Dirt bikes: Rewind, Eject Waverunners: Seaspray, Powerglide Quads: Gears, Warpath Dune buggies: Beachcomber, Wheelie And I bet you see what I did there... all minibots (and cassettes), small in both modes, but also in scale. Genius I tell you, genius! |

I updated the ol' toy review blog. But ssshhhh...I can't actually POSt about that unless I put my entire review up on the site itself, because God forbid I should link to my own words and pictures or something.

You could include Hector. He made the review, in my opinion. ;)

HAH. Yeah, he can simultaneously ruin AND improve any given activity. I think that was his way of informing me that review writing was over, and cat-time had begun.

I got all 3 Joe exclusives. It looks like I picked up someone's duplicates. I did have to call HTS though because I noticed it had the wrong month of expiration for my card. They took care of it and said it was all set. If I didn't call, they would have emailed me when they went to ship and charge to verify. Two of each exclusive now. My 1st Hiss will be here today.
My set of Generations Deluxe Asia exclusives shipped today, too. They shipped from Cali and I should have them in 3 days. Woo hoo! The white Jinx I bought on eBay on Monday still hasn't shipped. I had a message with the payment and sent another message through eBay on Thursday. No responses from this guy. WTF. I guess I have to wait it out, right? The listing said "usually ships in 3 days after cleared payment." It's been 4 business days plus Saturday (post office is still open). Argh.
