I noticed that too. Very annoying.
did you get why they had to fly the Osprey's into the middle of the city to deploy the soldiers with their flying squirrel suits? Why couldnt they deploy from a safe distance? ... and how did that many Osprey's make it through the perimeter anyway?? I think that was really the point in the movie where I just gave up. No commander would have sent that many planes on a suicide mission when they could jump in from much farther away at no risk to pilots and equipment right? those pics are great, I love all the jets together. wish I could spare the loot for some of those.

Loving the D-con display. It almost makes me want to go grab Sunstorm, lol. And I'd be tempted to get Ghost SS is the price drops much further.
And, um... that's a lot of Rodimusi. Repainted Grimlock? *waits for more pictures* Also, I haven't seen TF3 yet, so I'll abstain from commenting. Also also, wtf is up with all of the whiny club-licking bitches? "YES THIS FIGURE IS MADE OUT OF CHEESE AND POCKET LINT BUT THE CLUB DIDN'T HAVE TO MAKE IT I'M FOR ONE HAPPY TO GET THIS CHARACTER SO WHY ARE YOU HERE STFU!" |

I'll tell you that I'd forgotten about the squirrel suits. But yeah, I didn't get the squirrel suits at all really. Seems like an underground attack would've been best. And I agree, the whole Avatar bombardment style attack on Chicago was poorly planned. But it made for a lot of explosions which is pretty much all Micheal Bay wants from a film. "BOOM, Bang, Explosions..."
Thanks for the words on the photos, I like the new selective purchasing idea I'm backing, it's allowing me to focus on the things like the jets and so forth. Plus when it comes to TFs, I've always avoided purchasing every figure they make cause most of the movie stuff they're backing is crap anyway. The Ghost Starscream is pretty neat, except for the clear hands. I don't know why they aren't cast in translucent blue. That's the King Grimlock figure that came out after original. I got it for a great price using some online store's holiday promotion where they were offering like 20% off all instock and preorder items. To boot their regular price was lower than most of the other stores to begin with. It is a lot of Rodimi... It just kinda got out of hand somehow. I mean, I in the case of TFs, I try to get two of anything I pick up so that I can avoid wear and tear of transformations and display in both modes to boot. But with Rodimus having two different color schemes and four different transformations... The weird part is, I'd like to get a Takara MP-09 version 2 for the new shin guard design. I'd really like to swap out the TRU versions red lower legs for the gunmetal of Takara's. I understand the folks that are honestly happy to be getting a figure like TNT. There are those people happy with him. But I agree no one should get all upset that the next guy doesn't like a figure. Not worth the ulcer. |

Yeah, I'm surprisingly excited about the new seven packs, probably beause it's a lot of figs for not much money.
I'm very meh about the subscription figs but it all depends on price. I am still shocked that they have not said a price yet. It's gotta be expensive or they would have said something already. If the figs are more than $15 each I'm gonna pass. But it's like Hicks said, there's no reason to go all nerd-war on this stuff. Very sad to see e-fights break out over things like this. |

The one thing that I really like about the choice of including Slaughter's Marauders is that one can use the Benchpress Slaughter as a great stand-in figure. Assuming, of course, that one was lucky enough to put the figure together.
Still, I did cancel my preorder through BBTS. I hate to say it, but seeing that every online retailer seems to now be offering them, they won't be that hard to come by and I think I will wait and let the price go down. Sure, I risk not getting them at all that way, but I'm alright with that too. Edit, different note, I'm happy Beavis and Butthead are back on TV and that they're making fun of the worst TV shows in a way only those two can. Yep, they returned here in the last month or so. And new episodes to boot. Mike Judge seems a little too preoccupied with Jersey Shore and teen mothers though. But the new age cult mistaking Cornholio as the second coming of their leader was hilarious.

Anyone, [and forgive me, Hellion, for looking your way] own a Kre-O Bumblebee kit? The larger one that is... Does the head on the primary figure have just a swivel or is it a ball joint? And while I'm at it, how about the smaller Bumblebee? Any idea on how big the head is?
