Hellion: Sadly, I stopped reading and starting skimming somewhere in all that. So you're good with the IG situation and don't need the one I have, right? Cause that's completely cool. I'll just let it stay in the Wal-Mart bag for now. Now, about that Rodimus, give me a day or two to check my sources.
Irid: Isaac Asimov? I did always find it odd how he took every opportunity to explain how simple and plain Susan Calvin was in appearance... Hey, everybody else. |

Correct, I'm IG'd up. And after reading some of the latest Q&A answers, I'm really glad the designers tried sticking the IG helmet on the figure. This thing is totally badass. I wish they would have changed up the coloring a bit more from the PoC release, but either way I'm a sucker for troop variants. Are you sure about hanging onto it? I feel bad about you going out of your way to snag one. And about the Rodimus, I was half-joking. If you manage to find one I certainly won't turn it down, but I was mostly implying that I'd find one locally as soon as you did.
So I had a bit of a detour tonight. My usual route home was flooded out once again, as was the adjacent road I usually take to get around that one spot. So I ended up picking a road and going in the right general direction without knowing exactly where I was rather than double back for 2 miles to pick up the interstate. After a few times guessing at intersections, I managed to get onto the road that for no apparent reason has two Walmarts within 3 miles of one another. The first one was where I found the 30th stuff the other night, so I went in to check for Bravos. Still a few figures left, but no vehicles. The next one down hasn't had Joes for who knows how long, but I figured since I had to drive past it to get home I might as well stop. And sure enough I walked out with a VAMP and Black Dragon. Two thoughts: - Holy shit is Air Viper friggin tall. Dude would be pushing 7 feet if his knees weren't perma-bent. - Yay figure stands with vehicles! |

The writer in question is Orson Scott Card. Just google info about his new novella that is a re-writing of Hamlet, or look on io9, and you'll see what I mean.

Ah, his intolerance is old news to me, sadly. It's a damn shame, too, as the man is a really good writer.

Oh, it wasn't news to me either. What WAS news, and what precipitated my getting extra pissed off, was his co-opting of Hamlet to spread a hateful agenda.

And speaking of hateful agendas... iGear Thundercracker! Whooooooooooooo!
Hellion: I'm alright with the IG situation, unless you really, really want a second one it's fine where it is. I stopped by Wal-Mart and found another four Vipers and HazMats. There were also Troopers and Steel Brigades which I remember Fogger looking to find. And possibly Irid too. Do either of you still need them? |

I'm good on Steel Brigade - I'd take Troopers or Stalkers if you find extras. Not a big deal, though.

I will look when I head out tonight again before going to the gym. They had four earlier, no promises though if Comic Book Guy's brother stopped in.

Okay, I'll bite... what's hateful about the iGear TC? Also, on a side note, I broke down and ordered the coneheads. Even though, ironically enough, I don't like the heads. And I'm glad you're good with the IG thing. Guilt ending in 3... 2... 1...
...it's like nothing ever happened! \o/ And on a side note, I decided to try MetroPCS to try and save a few bucks on ye olde phone bille. Yeah, that lasted less than 12 hours. I got it all set up before bed, and woke up to picture ads and spam texts. I think there's a way around the ads, but texts are all or nothing according to the research I did. By the time I had it all boxed up, I had 26 total messages, only 11 of which were actual conversation. Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye. |

Schmeh, nothing's ever as good as it sounds.
Foggerstein: I have four, count them four, Cobra Blue Shirts that are yours if you should want them. Everyone else, I have some number less than four, count them four, Cobra Blue Shirts that Fogger may or may not have wanted... That has yet to be determined. |
