Gave in when I found two HazMat Vipers and the newest [red forearms] Vipers at Wal Mart the other morning after work. Took them to the counter... They didn't scan. Almost didn't get them because the guy wouldn't just let me go back and get the leftover Storm Shadow to scan them in that way. Finally, the regular early morning clerk came up and did his cashier magic and got me the three of them.
So yeah, HazMat Viper's pretty cool. The little Formula [or Compound or Agent or Whatever] Z [dare I say, for Zombie?] nonsense is kinda corny though. Oh, and its good to see no one washed away. Edit: Also, the Club's new service is making it really hard to walk away from collecting, but I'm still not convinced. It's been nice having more disposable income, I bought new shirts this morning. They even have collars. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 09-02-2011 at 04:55 PM.. |

disposable income.... sounds good but all of my income gets disposed of some way or the other so it's hard to say if it's good or not..
got my box today. the PDD is an 8 but I'm fine with that. doesn't matter if it's first run or second run, for $60 bucks I'm happy to finally have one. My Starscream Skystriker box is pretty bashed on the top. Luckily it's mostly on the back that's bad so the front image is still 95% nice. I wasn't going to keep it MISB anyway but that's not the point. Mildly pissed off.

The second run Destros actually had a better paint scheme in my opinion. Darker reds and better contrast for it. But that's just me. "Sky"-scream I have no opinion of.
Footloose almost seemed like a given as they had spent the money for the Tom Selleck/Claymore head sculpt. I'm glad that he's just the incentive figure from what I'm reading on the Club's site. Reckon I'll be seeing him some time in late March/early April... Or you know, July. |

Build a protective mail hut out of discarded wildebeests and popsicle sticks. You're handy like that. I'm glad I'm not tempted by the new Unicron... I have the Armada one, and it's meh. I'm glad I got it on clearance back in the day.
I'm in for a Footloose, and probably the sub too. Though I must say the "leaked" list didn't really grab my attention much. So what are the odds of one of you kind fellows snagging me a 30th Viper, Haz Viper, and IG? I'm not coming up with crap here, and the late-night after-work walmart runs are starting to drain the gas tank. edit: HOLY SHIT BBTS PRICING FOR THE NEXT WAVE OF GENERATIONS Last edited by Hellion42; 09-03-2011 at 01:41 AM.. |

Let me check in on that IG when I head out later tonight. It was there at 5:30 this afternoon, there's a chance that since it's been there 48 hours now no one really wants it.
Found out today that there's a "toy store" now in town too. That may explain what has been happening to Wal-Marts around here and the cherry picking I've been seeing recently. And to think I've been blaming the real life Comic Book Guy all this time... I mean, I know he's bad for it too, leaving all his "unwanteds" scattered on the shelves, but he may not be the only one. |

Very kind of you sir.
And yeah, it's pretty sad how so many "independent" stores are just scalphouses. It's a wonder any of them stay in business. |

People are idiots. They stop by, are all, "Ooo, this is what Timmy wanted and we can't find it anywhere else in this one Wal-Mart town..." So they pay a mark-up rather than drive an hour to any "local" TRU or Target.
Yes, I realize that people would say the same of online retailers that will remain nameless. |

My thoughts, too. I'll be glad to see it hanging next to my other exclusives, even with the 8.
