So, found the Commander Gree I've been needing to finish my next lazy custom. Now, all I lack is finding the Airborne I've got around here for his vest. I also found a few left over CCs, Hawk and Blowtorches at the local Wal-Mart. Seems the one other Joe Collector [or at least I hope the guy that looks like Comic Book Guy isn't a scalper] in the area has taken to helping me stop my troop building. I'm glad for that. Saw that the Hercules Exgraver is up for preorder by July... A six hundred dollar Not Devestator is gonna be a pretty tough sell even for me. |

Well then. Just picked up a Blades and his ride for $100 shipped. My con wish list is now down to the 2009 3-pack, Manleh, and PP Motor Viper. I find it odd that the one figure I thought I'd never get from 2009 is the first.

It happens and nice going. All things considered, it's a decent set.

You know, the spam thread was once nothing more than a place to test gifs, polls and the like.
I miss those days. This was kinda cool, as is the making of. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 06-11-2011 at 04:18 AM.. |

That WAS pretty cool. Shitty music though.
If by thread you meant thread, this wasn't originally a spam thread. Ah, how soon we forget. If by thread you meant forum, then I can't relate. I came over from tfans/tformers, where the spam section was a general hangout/goof off area. 'Tis where I got my avatar as a matter of fact. I'd say "I miss those days" but those days ended with me just getting fed up at certain people's attitudes and the cliquish atmosphere that had sprung up. So, just days before the announcement that RtS and Generations were showing up at the discount stores, I caved and bought a Warpath off of eBay. The guy charged $8 for shipping so I figured I was getting a Priority box. It arrived today in a bubble mailer sporting a $2.56 label. The card was curled, creased, torn, and the bubble was coming off from the top down. Gotta love assholes. |

Don't be bad mouthing Stevie Wonder and Waylon...
No, no... I mean, the spam thread [section] of the forums. Not this particular thread. Trust me, I remember when derek sent us to the abyss. Now, it's become trendy to hang out here. So, you wound up with my junked Warpath... sucker! Seriously though, that does suck, sir. I would file a dispute were I you. Overcharging on shipping and worse than described conditions. Assuming you're not frequent with disputes, eBay should side with you. |

You know what would cut the trend off at its knees? Make spam-section posts not count towards your total.
And I WILL complain to eBayPal, but I'm gonna give the seller a chance to own up first. That's prolly in the claim procedure anyways. And I haven't filed a grievance since I got shipped a G2 Prime that was nearly falling apart despite being in "good" condition. The seller either can't read, or had exactly one defense lined up in case of complaint: I was just confused that it wasn't a G1 Prime, and I want him to pay for my mistake. In any case, in those days eBay basically said "leave negative feedback, sucks to be you." As far as the music goes, I was referring to the making-of video since that was fresh in my mind. |

Oh, you won that. I was watching it, but never bid on it. If it were BIN at $75 (the opening,), I may have bought it. I guess I lost interest in obtaining that.
