I'd've thought that the coming summer would only make things busier...
So, I don't know what has happened over the last week but I woke up thinking maybe I should be done with commecting. Not getting rid of my existing stuff, mind you, just bein done with obtaining more... or scaling back considerably. Know what's really weird... I think it's because of a woman. She's not telling me to do any of this. I just think something about new priorities. I'm afraid that I might be growing up. |

Commecting? PEDANTRY HELL YEAH.
Ok, typos aside...dammit Hicks, not you too. Frankly I was kinda counting on you to take all my army builders as I circle the decision of "scaling back to 1 of each figure, er, aside from Steel Brigade and Shock Troopers, of course..." Honestly I may be forced into it by vet bills.

I scaled back past "one of each figure" to "one of each character and one of each troop repaint" back when I got into 25th. Does that mean I've grown up?
And to echo Irid... dammit Hicks, I was counting on you to take all of my extra PP Troopers off of my hands. And to reply to Irid... marry the vet. Much cheaper in the long run, even if bigamy is involved. And to completely change the subject... I borrowed my girlfriend's PSP after Saturday basically went "I have homework to do, here's a fully charged PSP and Final Fantasy 4 Complete." I've played FF4 roughly 20 times and it still manages to suck me in. Dunno if it's because I know the game inside and out or if it's been nerfed, but this version seems awfully easy. But it sure is pretty... and the auto-battle function kicks ass. So I'll be buried in that for the next few days at least. I hope The After Years doesn't suck too much. Trust me on this.

Typos... Typos... How am I to bring new words to the language if I can't get the support of my peers? For-shizzle Snoop Dogg never had these troubles.
Actually, its been a number of factors playing into it. I'm finally running out of space, the hassle with my credit card and the supposed "theft of identity" that's resulted in my old account closing and my new card not getting here yet with a number of ordered items on hold thanks to a very patient BBTS customer support group... Stupid Apple Inc of Texas, all this trouble over a dollar charge you put on my card for no reason. And this girl, man... she's got me thinking all kinds of crazy things. Of course it's a lot more complicated than it should be... She being the daughter of a friend of the family and already having a boyfriend [that no one seems to like]. Like I said, complicated... Anyway, battery's dying and I should be getting to work. Enjoy your day fellas. And don't worry yet, maybe she'll break my heart and I'll bury myself in plastic troop builders to console myself. |

Yep, that sure sounds complicated. Although the best time to start dating someone is when you can't use your credit card. And you don't even have to worry about blowing the rent money.

Well, the beauty of that is that neither of us really pay rent. A drifter's life does have some advantage once you get passed the idea of having all your crap in a storage unit. She lives in her mother's rental property.
I can also tell you that when you're trying your best to work through your debates of will she/won't she in your head, a piece of Lexan and a file do a nice job of helping you through it. Add to it a workshop quiet save for the sound of classic country music and I understand now why my Granddad spent so much time in his. I may not have gotten very far with the debate, but that new process panel is smooth to the point of perfection with corners that no belt sander could outshine. Anyway, I can tell you that cleaning out my preorders at BBTS is something more or less along the lines of... pleasant. My only real challenge at this point will be releasing the sum of troop builders in my PoL that the old credit card never cleared thanks to the fraudulent charge strangle hold put on it. I can't imagine though that BBTS will have any issue putting a dozen Troopers and Steel Brigade back in their system for someone else to order. I can't tell you when that'll happen, but be looking for, I reckon. The six BATs will likely just go back on the shelf of unwanted toys. I watched True Grit this morning as well. I also enjoyed that. It's going to be a good day, I think. |

Oh damn, Hicks fell HARD.
I wish I had a workshop. Or even just space for a damn craft table. But I am glad I got out of the army building business. Hearing about those dozen troopers and SBs makes my wallet hurt. Also, "passed" should be "past." Just because I'm a dick that way. |

I'm also trying to reduce my commection of troop builders. Two to five of any troop is plenty for me, a point of view that gradually came to me during the last year or so. Of course, it wasn't having a girlfriend, or a wife, or even two kids that got me to that point, but that third kid that did it.
