Thinking hard about that Claymore, Hellion. However, I'm thinking I oughta just wait for ebay prices on whole sets to drop, if they ever do...

I hate that Claymore doesn't have flesh-molded arms like the Mainframe does. They're painted and the elbow joints chip! I know it's not just mine because it happened to my friend's Claymore, too.

Yeah, not sure why they went with that.

Well, if the arms are molded flesh, they'd have to paint the sleeves black, so logically the chipping issue would just move to the shoulders. One of the reasons I try to avoid painting joints on customs. ^_^;
As for eBay prices, who knows what's gonna happen. The only thing for sure is that there won't be any more in circulation in the future. I'm glad I was able to finagle the cash together to preorder though. |

They could have molded the lower arms in flesh and the upper arms in block. Think outside the bun!

Is this normally done on the Joe assembly line, or would the club had to have developed and implemented this all by their lonesome? The figures are expensive enough as it is lol.

But any number of figures already have painted shoulders and survive just fine. Flesh tones do seen to be softer. Case in point my Python Vipers below.
I'm pretty sure they all come from the same factory in China. That's where the "prerelease" sales came from earlier. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 04-22-2011 at 04:18 PM.. |
