Yep, Joes are gonna get my money too.
Wanna play pacifist Doctor in the Army, eh Capt Hawkeye? Well, take that you hippie. Yeah and you're gonna be thanking Hasbro when those Zombies show up, ain't you? |

I am a little leery of the Club Subscription, I know it'll be good for getting NF Falcon and the other cancelled figures... Come on, Arctic Duke and Arctic CC... but I can also see a handful of O-ring figures sneaking in there. But Yes, I'm as good as subscribed.
May be our best bet at getting Oktober Guard figures though. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 04-02-2011 at 06:17 PM.. |

Looks to me like Lifeline there is now an Air Force Pararescueman rather than a medic. REAL ASS.
Also he looks freaking awesome, so do the zombies and the data-vipers. Silly, but silly AWESOME. And yeah, the subscription idea, should it survive - the Oktober guard. Billy. Zanya. City Strike Scarlett, anyone? And dare I hope...a Candi/Bongo the Balloon Bear? Orlovsky and the White Clown? Hasbro made Kwinn. The Club made Dr. Venom...I'm actually starting to feel like these are possibilities. DR APPEL!

You know, the more I read of him, the more I'd like a better Ghost Bear too. More like a Soviet Wraith than a troubled teen looking for revenge though.
...Make it happen, GIJCC. |

I hope they do announce all of them ahead of time. I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into. Too many Renegades figures for my liking. That basically means we'll have to order complete sets or cases to get the other figures...or pay much higher prices. I really like the Techno-Viper, Data-Viper, Hazard-Viper, Sci-Fi, and Kwinn.

As long as 1. Walmart starts stocking Joes again and B. they continue to take returns without a receipt, I have no issues with ordering sets or cases. BST for however long, then off to Wallycron when there's enough to make the trip worth it. I also feel that the upcoming assortments are going to be a mixed bag, but hunting retail anymore is such a waste of time and gas that I'd much rather pay to get a full wave and deal with the unwanteds after the fact.
The same rationale applies to the subscription idea IMO. Even if I only end up wanting one or two of the figures, if the MOTU stuff is any indicator there should be no problem unloading unwanteds after the fact. But I'm pretty confident that I'll be keeping most of them, and we'll be getting kitbashed fanwank figures that we'd never, ever get otherwise. Oktober Guard I think tops the list for me so far as old school goes. I'd love some DDP characters like Rey, Sparks, Armada, the Stalls, Shooter, etc. I see some folks demanding new tooling already, but I don't care as long as what they use makes the intended character. I have high hopes for it. |

Fast Draw...he's obscure enough for a Club figure! I know, I'm dreaming...oh well.

I'd buy one.
Then scalp it on eBay. |

Time will tell. I suppose the first thing to learn is how to sign up and how much to pay.
