I've got the 2 plus the set of 6 for both waves. I like to build in groups of 3, but I don't think I'll get any extras of the other troops. I've got enough various blue shirts, BATs, and vipers. I don't really like the Rock Viper and IG enough to warrant more than 1. If the Rock Viper had a head more closely accurate to the 1990 one, then yea...but Beach Rockhead Viper? No thanks.
I just don't get the point of it. If it really bothered me, I would just block it. |

I was able to preorder through Toywiz.com for $9.99 on the Steel Brigade and Cobras... Then the price shot up. I'm told it won't effect my order but I also know from the past that this might mean that they'll just claim they didn't get enough to fill my order.
Fortunately, BBTS is still my primary source. Costly, but reliable. Fast Draw, I think he just wants the attention. You can also see him at youtube.com under awesomedude113. |

I always wondered if anyone actually bought anything from them or not. I look at their prices and I just laugh. On a completely different topic, I got MP Rodimus yesterday. I didn't have a whole lot of time to futz with him, but I had quite a bit of trouble trying to get him into car mode. It seems like places that are supposed to peg-in don't quite fit flush. Of course there's always the possibility I'm doing something wrong. I shall google in a bit and see what the deal, yo. |

You're going to find you need to be aggressive with the transformation... I got him into car mode once and then getting him back to Hotrod was quite a bit easier.
I used to do a lot of business with Toywiz. They were a decent company way back... Sent stuff out early and got it to me quick. Now its more a last resort. I hesitated on buying more Steel Brigade and Trooper figures through BBTS and they sold out on me. So... Just don't call them about a complaint cause they literally directed my call to the most angry sounding woman I've ever heard. I'm pretty sure I got more than one Z-wave finger during our delightful conversation. |

"Sir, there's no reason to get an attitude with me, I'm just the woman answering the phone... And don't talk slow to me like I'm an idiot."
"I promise you its not 'an attitude', I always talk slow. I'm from Kentucky and I've hit a few concrete walls. I just want to know why you're not shipping out my Vipers that I purchased at four bucks a piece." "Sir, I will hang up on you if you do not calm down..." "I... I am calm." The words are probably different but you get the bulk of it. |

"You have a problem? Here, talk to our Problem Solver Specialist."
Anyway, after some research, I was part doing it wrong (needed to be much more "aggressive" folding up the ankles, now there's almost room for the hands), but most of it is poor fit. None of the leg panels peg in properly in car mode. One of the panels also came off completely (the one on the strut). The left arm doesn't collapse far enough to fit flush in car mode. The hands basically just get in the way... it would have made more sense for the hands to flip into the arms, and either make room for the attachment prongs to slip into the legs or just make the prongs smaller. I didn't even attempt Space Winnebago mode... I did a quick test-fit and there's no way the spoiler is getting in and out of that slot without scraping paint off. And considering I bought this as opposed to waiting for the US version FOR the trailer... yeah. Edit: and back into bot mode, I had nearly forgotten about how the chest doesn't peg in securely, and the backpack doesn't have the proper clearance somewhere to peg in at all. Then I tried to stand him... I understand the need for ratcheting joints, but the feet and ankles don't even appear to be symmetrical, and some ratchet positions just don't hold. And... he can't even close his fists around his guns. Did anybody over at TT bother to QC the final design?!? On the plus side, I have a couple of Sportpicks, Lowlight, Shadow Tracker, and Generations deluxe wave 3 to fiddle with. I'm expecting a goodish amount of win with a side of awesome. I'll have to tinker with mine again and see if I can help you out. It'll be a few days though.

Whatever tips you can offer would be welcome. My beef though is that a $200 toy shouldn't have to be screwed with. I shouldn't need to "massage" certain parts together in order to get them to line up properly. I shouldn't have to use those clear plastic bands to secure a weapon to a hand where BY DESIGN using the palm peg and wrapping the fingers around the grip are mutually exclusive. I shouldn't have to sand down the spoiler slot in the trailer due to lack of clearance. Honestly, I haven't seen fit and finish this blatantly disregarded since the classics Ironhide mold.
While I'm bitching... why the zark can't Lowlight hold his freakin gun correctly? They went through the trouble of giving both of his hands extra articulation, molded his right hand to the gun exactly, but he's too bulky to take advantage of it really. And just to show that I'm not all about the negativity, Shadow Tracker, Scourge, and Wheeljack are aweseomesauce. Kup is close, but the face has this hideous skeletal rictus that makes me go . Was kind of disappointed in Thundercracker... I really prefer the Henkei coloration. But it's nice to have the shoulder pegs hold something but empty air. |

I must be out of touch as a Joe fan. I don't care for many of those fan voted "favorites." I had no idea Lifeline had a cult following.
