I'm thinking I might buy the "hometown hero" package to get the con set and then see who I can unload the PP troopers and spare televiper on. I only need one PP squad.
Also, let's remember folks, no matter how much people clamor for wanting con sets, every set going back to 2006 is available for less on the club store.

If I get a set, I'll set those aside for you.

Is it the con-exclusive sets that're so hard to find, then?

Yes, but usually a few are available in the clubstore later, and they can always be found on ebay. For example, I have the con-exclusive set of 3, Redmack, Shimik, and Topson, from a couple years ago, bought at the club store.

I'll probably wait, then.

I might be willing to take any left over Python figures, gentlemen.

Woot! But I doubt they'd announce anything this year that would undercut the set. It took 3 years for the Botcon Seekers to appear at retail, for example. |

Sets are usually around, its the convention attendee items that make me want to go.

I (selfishly) kinda hope the attendee exclusives aren't particularly awesome. The set is giving me enough fanboy angst as it is.

I'm gonna see if my parents want to take a trip to Florida as my birthday gift to them... With one little side trip as the sole condition. But hey, my birthday's that month too so...
Anyway, day three of this icestorm and I'm now three for three on stepping outside, slipping, and landing on my ass. Three different doors, three comical landings. Just the side patio and the garage car door left... Will I sweep the weekend? Can I go five for five before the ice melts? Will this lump on my forearm turn purple before it finally heals? |
