You know, I have to say this. That was a damn good 2,500th post. I've seen a few of those in my time, and that was pretty good.
Keep on Rockin' "C'mon BBTS" thread!

Never trust a rodent to take accurate photos. I spent an entire night putting that "rock" together. Better be some more damn photos show up of my craftsmanship. Used nothing but a pair of wirecutters and some wood glue.
... ... ...Yeah... Oh and I could bubble wrap my house and most of the yard. |

Yeah, spray foam would've been easier. But I had to add more style since his Aero-Viper was little more than a RoC MARS trooper with a new helmet and flight harness. Well that and a carefully and skillfully cut filecard. You could hang photos and pour concrete with the straight edges I put on that thing.
So yeah, dug out my extra popsicle sticks and rubber stamp for custom labels and went to work. |

Seems there's a wee bit of mass-shifting going on. I doubt you accomplished that with wood glue. I damn near cut my hand open on these razor-sharp edges. Had the box contained an IED it would have made fine shrapnel. Underneath was a very suspicious box. A box-within-a-box, such as my father used to wrap on Christmas. A clever ploy towards lowering my guard, but for naught. The box was marked in a foreign, yet familiar language. Further inspection revealed more shape-shifting text. The plot thickens. "Property of MARS" ... "Hold for Destro" ... "Do Not Open" As if such warnings would deter the determined. Obviously reverse psychology. Careful unsealing revealed no further traps. Though it did reveal an unknown substance. The crate appears to be packed in dry ice. But one can never be too careful. TO BE CONTINUED... |

Hours later, there's a hint of something other than apparent dry ice. After much painstaking excavation, we come to the contents of the crate-within-a-rock-within-a-box: An Aero Viper! I was not being fooled after all. He immediately took his place in my collection: Now I just have to figure out what to do with all of this dry ice. Thanks man! Dude. Ass. /o\ Quote:

BTW, Hicks... you wouldn't happen to be looking to get rid of the Fury's driver, would you?

Not at present, he's sitting in the cockpit twiddling his thumbs while waiting for a response from HTS.com about those stickers.
You know, when the woman asked about potentally hazardous materials, I almost warned her about the filecard. Then said "screw it". They should never have reason to open it anyway. Maybe I'll go into the tiny crate business... |
