Bah, they'll miscolor Ramjet the first time then release the other two with modded wings and then come back with a cartoon accurate Ramjet or a clear version. They'll get their money's worth from the bulk of the mold.
I don't think the colors between the two Skywarps will match up. Takara's is painted and Hasbro's is dyed plastic, right? I just left my Takara Skywarp without the stripes. I mean, Starscream's teal, why can't Skywarp be solid black? |

I love the real painted finishes much better than the molded colors.
And about Soundwave, the blue single deck is G1 but the black double deck was a kind of reincarnation of Soundwave, renamed Soundblaster, after a battle to the death with Autobot rival Blaster in one of the Japanese only shows we never got. Right? I'm not sure where that nugget of geekdom came from but I seem to remember actually seeing that episode once.

Well, it looks like I won't be able to get the SDCC version in the US for less than $100 shipped now. I knew I should have just bought it when HTS had it right after SDCC. I'm getting a nice tax refund, but it appears I need front/rear brakes and new tires. That's going to eat into most of my refund (I'll know for sure next week).

There's still the Japanese reissues too. Sometimes you can get them for a low price.
And yep, Soundblaster was made from salvaged scraps of Soundwave. Just like Twinblast was rebuilt from Blaster, I believe. |

I mean, Starscream's teal, why can't Skywarp be solid black? As far as Greenscream goes, I boycotted that fugly thing. Saw the protos, fell in love, placed a preorder... saw the final colors, balked, and cancelled. Thankfully Hasbro came through with the G1-colored Walmart version. I just need some airshow stripes for SW and TC... and some Dust-off. Quote:

Well, I guess no SDCC Soundwave for me...at least now. Four new tires (mounted and balanced), new front brakes and rotors, and new rear breaks and rotors. $1143.21. Much better than the dealership estimate of $1350, which didn't include new rotors. 10% with my AAA card. I'm glad I got more value and quality for my money, but disappointed that they're not making cars like they used to even 5-7 years ago.
My car is only a 2007 (I've had it for 2 years and 7 months) and it only has 36,000 miles. The factory parts they're using aren't what they used to be. I had a similar car, but a 2003 model. I went 4 years and 55,000 miles before I had to do one of those (the front brakes). Ridiculous. At least I'll be all set now for a while. There's go most of my tax refund though. I'm getting back about $1210 and most of that is going to the car. Oh well. Thankfully, that really helps and it isn't going to cost me any extra money out of my pocket. |

I just wrote my name in the snow! I probably had enough left over to go for the middle initial... But I didn't plan ahead... maybe next time.
