So... anyone ever had a cat jump into a hottub on them before? That was a fun five minutes.
Edit: Oh and by the counter on the forum list: 2000th Reply. Which is like a cheap knock-off of the 2000th post. In your face, Power Team Elite figures! |

2001: A Posting Odyssey
We had a cat that would, on a daily basis, tear ass through the house, running at full speed from room to room and use corners of rooms to catapult himself out of turns, etc. Part of his race track was using the bathtub to slingshot him around and back into the hall. He would jump in and slide around the end and literally shoot out of the room. Well one day the tub was filling up with hot water and the door had not been closed. That was one very wet, very surprised (but otherwise ok) cat.

As an owner of expensive electronics and copious amounts of easily-displaced bits of shelved plastic figures, I trust cats about the same as I trust little kids.

Anyone know how many DVD sets the TF cartoon will end up being? 4 or 5? I've got the GI Joe box set, but wasn't really sure if I wanted the TF one or to just get the sets. I may not get anything, but there are some sales now (duh). I wanted all of the extras with GI Joe. It's not as important with TF...maybe I should just get the individual sets.

Ah cats, nature's sophisticated idiots.

I saw that the final volume comes out April 20th. I ended up getting season 1 and season 2 volume 1 at FYE for $17.99 each. A store here had the whole Matrix set for $110, but it seems like I'll be able to get all 4 sets for less than $80 including tax ($38.50 for 2 sets today).

Yeah, the Matrix boxset is kind of a let down. There's really nothing special but two magnets. The footlocker, however, is pretty damn nice overall. If you don't have the volumes, it's a nice way to kill the series in one shot.
Also, if you're into The Shield, Deepdiscount had the complete series for 108 and free shipping. Made shopping for my niece a lot easier for the next few gift giving occassions in her life. |

Season 1 came with the Autobot magnet, too. I wonder if season 2 volume 2 or season 3/4 will come with the Decepticon magnet.
The footlocker also came with that USB flash drive, which was a cool little extra. |
