See, I'm not too big on the Jetpack. The figure doesn't seem to hold well to the peg and the whole thing is impractical. I do own one, but more because of its ridiculous to anything else. Looks like some Cobra Engineer was watching Gundam episodes and failed to carry the concept over.
On a side note, I saw RoC tonight. I went in with low expectations and they were fully realized. I tried to keep an open mind but that was just too much. Bummer. |

160 gigs... even with all the music I haven't put on mine, I don't think I'll fill up 30. I can't imagine ever filling 160 gigs. Maybe that's the benefit of liking music where most of the artists are dead or dying though.
Yeah, I do like the Strato-viper that comes with the jetpack. And admittedly, I'll own four when my Target.com order comes in now. Still that rocket pack is disappointing overall. A buddy of mine had it when we were kids, I don't remember being thrilled by it then either. It just seems... cumbersome. |

Exactly. What poor full pissed off his squad leader and got that suicide mission?
"Are you sure this'll fly?" he asks, as he straps in. "Well, run off tht cliff there before you ignite your rockets... and no matter what happens, you'll be in the air for a while, I suppose." |

I still haven't seen this magical $10 price you guys are finding. I do like that stratoviper though, and am close to buying the flying brick but not until I see that price. sigh.
30 gig? My ipod mini has about 2 gig. It's a real pain. I've got about 100 gig of tunes and have to be insanely selective and reloading picking music takes forever. Maybe it's time to mve on to a new machine. Question, does yours have a real on/off switch? The ipod I have requires you to press and hold the play/pause button, which only works half the time...

It should work all the time... that's odd. And no, mine works the same way. The library size thing is the exact reason I bought the 160gb model... I've got a lot of music, and didn't want a situation where I had to pick and choose. It also acts as a backup for my music, so I don;'t have to re-rip my CD collection for the 4th time. Which I still haven't finished doing from the last time a hard drive failed me.
But seriously, don't you guys watch cartoons? Propulsion = flight. It's a basic law of cel physics. |

Yea, I watch cartoons:
Apu: Who needs the Kwik-E-Mart? Now here comes the tricky part. Oh, won't you rhyme with me? Who needs the Kwik-E-Mart? Bart: Let's hurl a brick-E-Mart (AKA a Rocket Pack). |

they should have gone seasonal and made it into a nutcracker, those arms would have been perfect for it.
