1.) Use one of the transparent packing rubber bands that usually have our beloved figures hog-tied to the plastic insert. Unless adding extra equipment, I suggest the smaller bands that strap weapons to their hands/wrist. 2.) Super glue ...your choice of course! |

Turn the backpack slightly clockwise so the grapple gun rests on it and pray.
It isn't going to stay once you move the figure but it'll stay while it's standing put. The only other options I can think of are to use some of those transparent rubber bands figures get packed with or to go ahead and glue 'em in, but the former is ugly and the latter is permanent. |

Use a bit of putty, the type they sell for poster hanging and such. Less hassle than bands and not permanent.

I'm tempted to glue it just due to the fact that the handle is extra thick and stretches his hand when he holds it.

Do you think there's a chance they'll fix this AV backpack flaw before fall?

I went with the sticky-tack solution. It works, its easy, it can't be seen from the exterior like a rubber band can, and it works really well! You can hunt and find some black stuff too.

Well, I'm glad to see I'm not just super dense or something. I wonder, if this thing ever actually gets a proper release, if they're just intending to glue the grappling hook in place, just like how (I assume) they would eventually do with the knife sheathe that doesn't stay on his flak vest.

mmm yummy. Got me some wave 5 goodness here y'all!
(and my Appleseed figs came too. These things are some serious pieces of work. I'll do pics later. The heavy arm-suit / chase figure is beyond expectations. And yeah, Joe Scale.)
