I really just wanted to see what nugget you linked to. I liked the my little pony 4 pack someone hit us with a while back.

Yeah, I just saw that Black HiSS driver for the first time a second ago in another thread. I didn't realize he had a name. I don't know, a little dye and some metallic paints should replicate him pretty easy. Looks like the stand doesn't even have his name on it. Yeah, he's the best figure of the group but still...
The EE.com link never worked that I'm aware of, so no nuggets missed. I just took a working link erased the last two numbers and typed in 41, I think it was. Couldn't have worked out better with Derek posting the "That was fast" comment ahead of me. As for payment dues for services rendered, I get five minutes alone in the "These are never gonna sell." section of the warehouse. I haven't seen that Slaughter figure at retail. How does the scale size work with 25th Joes? I saw a pic someone had and he looks to be some taller than the Joes.

Nope, he's quite a bit smaller than a man of 6'4" should be compared to the Joes. He stands just a bit shorter than Lift Ticket when you'd expect him to be eye to eye with Destro.
Instead of going with a true 1:18 scale, the WWE figures seem intent on keeping to a 3 3/4" size... Which is why I plan on buying a second one should I ever find him. |

Yeah, I was surprised to see how small he looks. And the little chicken legs really make him look pretty wimpy. The head is a bit big for the body, so it would be easy to put on a proper Joe scale body. Assuming you've got the time and parts. I've got him standing on the back of my Skyhawk now so it's not so noticable. ("If I'm standing higher than the others, I'm not actually short!")

Oh, I agree, if that HiSS driver were available at mass or even with the UBP, I'd be happy as well. But that he's a convention exclusive, or diamond buried in a steaming pile... Well, I'm not getting my hands dirty going after him.
Captain Planet, he's my hero! Which reminds me Derek. I'm thinking our theme should be Open Mic Night at the Terrordrome. Last edited by Hicks_Royel; 05-05-2009 at 11:47 AM.. |
