Having been into 1/6 figures, missing releases and then having to play catch up was terrible. I came back to the hobby to find generic military guys, while crazy detailed, have risen to near Hot Toys prices. It?s really what drove me to check out the Joe Classified stuff, which has proven to be much more enjoyable. Hard to justify paying 1/6 prices for yet another slightly different Multicam operator, when I can get a bunch of unique Classified guys that are actually fun.

Wal-Mart ML exclusives are iffy because they never stock them in store anymore. I never once saw the new bucky cap, joe fixit retro card prowler, nor secret empire cap once in a store. I also find it suspicious that pulse just got what seems like a fairly large restock of the bucky cap and joe fixit on outlet. When they first put them back on outlet a couple about a month ago they sold out within a day but these have lasted some time. I don't think that will happen with Venom but who knows.

Thanks, brother. I'd appreciate that.
On the topic of Legions, she's really enjoying them. The Ice Troll has become a favorite, in her collection. We're trying to get some custom glasswork done, to create a television stand that she can create a diorama, inside of (using Mythic Legions). We play video games, together, with each of us having our own setup. We thought it would be a fun way to customize her area. She's really into medieval stuff (to the point where she can perfectly quote lines, from the Lord of the Rings books), so she's pretty excited about it. She's trying to create a dwarves versus ice trolls and the undead display, so we have more than a few of the upcoming releases, on preorder. I, as a metal-head, prefer the gothic looking ones. I've, so far, only picked up Wraithailer and Demistros, for myself. Both are great figures. They feel, very similar, to NECA figures. In paint quality and in how poseable they are. Your diorama idea sounds fun. Hope it works out well. By metal head are we talking Scandinavian?? I do not know much but I know there is a whole other scene over there. Countdown to Extinction was more my jam or Cowboys from Hell/Vulgar Didplay of Power etc., until I was corrupted by hip hop lol. Should have stuck with Badmotorfinger! Neca is another one I have tiptoed around. Did not grow up with any D&D, now these guys have me looking at dwarfs, wondering what I would do with their broken backpack lol. Stop tempting me! |

I purged all of my Legends figures a couple of years ago. But last year that X-Men Chod wave pulled me back in. I've been pretty selective with what I ha e been getting since. I want that Venom very badly! That is a fantastic figure. The Walmart exclusive figures this year have been pretty easy to order. Secret Empire Cap is currently still in stock on walmarts website and is a great figure! Thw Retro Prowler I wasn't expecting much from But in hand he is an absolutely fantastic figure. It's not in stock right now from Walmart, but keep checking as he has come back in stock many times. Also if you want Cap but want to try getting to free shipping, I can't recommend enough the exclusive 70's Star Lord figure from last year. He is only $6 right now and he is an absolutely awesome figure. Again, I didn't expect much from him, but in hand, he's one of those figures that is just hard to put down. You jist want ro keep putting him in cool psloses!
Speaking of Walmart, I stopped by mine today on my way to work and they did get the new Classified figures! I already have them all but it was just really nice to see them on shelves. They had 2 big Boas but no Techno Viper. Hopefully they keep stocking the new waves and keep them on shelves. |

I think Venom will be harder to obtain than some of the other recent WM releases. He's such a popular character, even his non-exclusive figures sell quickly.

I absolutely love Marvel comics and that's the exact reason I always stayed far away from Legends because I knew once I bought one I would have to buy them all. I typically am an all-in type of collector, but it would be even more so with Legends. One of my favorite Marvel comics of all-time were the many different volumes of Marvel Universe (had the originals, the books of the dead, the '89 updates, the master editions, etc.). Legends is basically a toy version of that. Uh-uh, I'm not going down that rabbit hole! lol

COnsidering, we'll probably be also ordering Joes that day as well, I'd recommend that people preorder him if they want him.

I'm surprised a Zarana & Zandar 2 pack is never going to happen, and they're never going to be depicted as close either. 8(

Another possible hint at Heartwrencher was WilliePete shooting down before the discussion of if she was gonna come with a Dreadnok Sears repaint of the VAMP.
Although given she has a "history with Zandar", I'm honestly surprised a Heartwrencher/Zandar 2 pack for say Pulse isn't happening.
