Hahahaha! I admit I like a few of the '82 figures and I had a handful from when I was little and 2 of my first Joe figures ever were the Cobra Officer and the MOBAT and Steeler, but I didn't get those until late 1983, when I originally started getting Joe figures as a 5-yr-old. I bet if I had started getting Joes a year earlier those '82 figures would have quite a bit more nostalgic draw and pull for me. I still appreciate that year for what it meant and still means in toy and Joe line history though for sure!

Yet somehow the mis-shapen gorilla Knockdown gets a pass? His torso is thicker than Elasti-Girl's ass and his face has more angles than Cthulhu's 7 penises do. That fucker simply the fuck is not a human being.

Tele-Viper. His entire head is punchable.
Sci-fi felt meh at first but he grew on me and would probably make a good Classified. Golobulus was kind of crap as a toy because of that tail. It also made him one of the most unique figures so didn't hate. Deep Six V1 always felt like a poor design. Sea Slug. No real reason, I just didn't like him or his vehicle much. That would be ideal and I'm embarrassed to say that never even dawned on me as an option. Best of both worlds... I like it.

Then again, more money to be made if they make the figure then issue a repaint. But yes, the red version is preferred.

I think Grand Slam is one of only a select few repaints that I actually prefer over the original v1 figure. Too much of a Flash clone with the red. I'm sure we'll eventually get both red and silver GS in Classified.

I contemplated putting him on my list. He would probably be #11 or #12 for me.
Damn, those are one of my favorite Cobra troop builders. I always liked the unique turquoise/aquamarine teal and silver deco and his helmet design. I didn't care for the ME one's transparent helmet visor though, needs to be solid so you can't see his face at all. The Moray was also one of only a handful or so of vehicles that I actually had growing up, it was a blast to play with in the pool. I loved the Moray. |

I pretty much hate all of Tiger Force, even though my favorite color is yellow. It wasn't scary or cool, it was just confusing and sad, like one of those cars driven by nut jobs that have a bunch of objects glued to it.

While I happen to be a fan of Tiger Force, your description gave me a good laugh. That description leaves no room to wonder how you feel about it. Nicely done.
