1) I don't want any more large 1:12 Joe vehicles.
2) I specifically am not interested in the Rattler. 3) I will buy whatever they put out because I can't skip landmark GI Joe toys. 4) OH WELL I do think the Rattler is the most likely choice for all of the reasons people have mentioned, but I also think there are far better choices for all of the reasons people have mentioned. And when we quote things that the Classified team has said in the past, we have to remember - things change. What was true in 2023 might not be true today. |

I'd love to see the Moray and WHALE as HasLabs. Boats are essentially large platforms and serve as giant diorama pieces that you would be able to pose a dozen or more figures on.
I've heard a couple times that boat-themed toys and naval stuff doesn't sell as well as land and air vehicles. [clipped] As I said before it doesn't have to be a Haslab to be the linch pin for a micro-ecosystem the Snowcat could do the same too for expanding the impact and desire for more snow stuff. At present the desire for snow stuff must be only moderate and most of that is being dragged along by the Snow Serpent with a bit of help from the Arctic Bat and Snow Job. If they made a Polar Battle Bear then that would help sell the Snow Cat and conversely the reverse too. So the existence of the Eel is a small help to a Moray.. but the Moray as a Haslab in turn would really help with the wet stuff. It would encourage them to release a Devil Fish (maybe even a Pirahna) and could even get us a "Night Landing" too. I think they'd likely be thinking of "Wetsuit Baroness" maybe even Wetsuit Scarlett for a Moray Tier or heck even Seal Shipwreck though generic cartoon style Cobra Divers could be done too. It would help a lot to sell a potential Hydro Viper too. So I think in that sense the appeal of the Moray is that it serves a potential eco-system. I AGREE THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE IT MIGHT STRUGGLE COMPARED TO THE HISS. But so long as it actually funds does that matter ? Though the Moray "Had" repaints they were a bit less iconic so perhaps that helps a bit too. I think I'd rather they shove a out the Mobat as a Hasbro Pulse exclusive they pay for themselves as then there is more chance of it getting a CAT & CAT II to follow (which I'd much prefer to the Mobat anyway). I think there is a strong argument that Hasbro shouldn't even be making Tanks at all and that they should instead be sub-licensing them to an RC vehicle manufacturer to do in 6" scale. |

BTW, the total cost of all classified items (figures, vehicles etc) is the same this year (through April) than it was last year at this time. There were less items released or available for preorder at this time last year than this point this year.
Hasbro about to drop a big classified HasLab this year. Quote:

I hated the inclusion of Glenda until someone (I think Dark Lord Mordred) pointed out her Codename was a throwback to Glenda The Good Witch. For whatever reason (because I'm a sucker for good naming convention most likely) I was like,"Oh I'm in. That's awesome." Now after having Retro Scarlet in hand I'm more excited because her buck (Wait...Doe maybe?) is fantastic.

Brother. You ain't kidding. When I showed my wife the original HISS video her argument was "It's cool. Price isn't bad. But where will you put it?" I was fully prepped with a comeback concerning price. I had nothing for her very relevant spacial concern but a blank stare.

At one time Lenny felt that the Thunder Machine didn't need to be a HasLab, but that could have changed in the same way that many things have since Classified started. Right? We know how we are. As much as I'd like to be able to say, "I just can't see myself backing a Rattler", I know it's not true. I'd be in on day one. Last edited by PhantomTrblmkr; 04-23-2024 at 01:43 PM.. |

Just for discussion purposes. Regardless of the vehicle, tiers, etc. What is the most you would pay for ANY classified HasLab?
$500 is my ceiling.

But seriously - I don't know. It would take a lot for me to go over $500. I feel like the WHALE is the largest must-have (for me) Classified that could happen and it might hit that price. I know you specified Classified, but if somehow, someway they offered a 1:18 Flagg in the vein of the Skystriker I'd bite regardless of the price because it would almost certainly be cheaper than buying an OG. Plus better materials, new labels, etc. |
