I think the face paint is better than the vintage. At least on that one example.

The only changes are in the plastic used and the o-ring material. I mean, they didn't take the opportunity to add articulation or modernize the facial sculpts. I guess they literally scanned in the old toys and created new tooling from those scans. There are weird anomalies though, like Cobra Officer's screwed up knee joints that restrict the amount the knee will bend. I think stuff like that is probably an error in the scan they didn't catch.

Here ya go, it was easy enough to just make another one. I'm hoping they get that helmet stripe a bit more cleanly applied in the final product, but if they don't, it won't be the end of the world:

I don't think the intention was to allow less articulation. I notice the knee joint piece extending from the calf is thicker on all the figures so far, but it's only the Officer with less movement there. So I think they intentionally thickened that part for some structural reason, and the Officer issue is just an error.

Seems like the helmet comes down lower on the forehead and it's more squared off there too, but it's hard to say because it could just be the slightly different angles or a trick due to the stripe. And thanks!

Not sure if this has been posted else where, but Chris on the Full Force podcast just received Megahiss and did an unboxing and review, and I have to say it looks awesome. The Baroness looks really good, and she actually has the gloss similar to the vintage, which makes sense considering her dominatrix outfit. I'm super excited to receive this. Here's the video.

I like it. Job well done. Just doesn't fit with my collection. Will hold out for a Baroness down the road.

Not really something I want. If it were made to fit modern figures, I'd be interested probably.

Right, this is for the o-ring line, not the ME line.
