You know, if anything - this is really a brilliant decision by Hasbro. Stand up and show that you NEED to support it if you want it. That's what it's all about. If you don't support it, they will move on and come up with something else. Makes sense to me.

My takeaway from the Rancor failing is that now we know that Haslab really is a "Take it or leave it" thing. It makes the Transformers ones we got all the more special. If Unicron and/or Victory Saber failed then we were likely never going to get anything like them at all. Especially in the case of Victory Saber that was specifically used as a gauge to determine Western demand for the Japanese Transformers characters. If VS was successful then it will open the gate for more Japanese only TF characters.
If you back on Kickstarter before, there are projects that reach 100+% funding but the creators pulled the plug. They are looking at 200-300% etc funding. That's why they have so many stretch goals (tiers in Hasbro Pulse terms) |

I think someone earlier mentioned Hasbro is not looking for 100% funding, more of 150-200% or even more.

That's why they have so many stretch goals (tiers in Hasbro Pulse terms) I love my Unicron and I'm glad I decided to back it. I was so close to skipping it but as a huge fan of Transformers I couldn't live with myself if I skipped on it. |

This is looks nothing like yesterday. The Rancor was still slogging in the morning. I feel like the big push is yet to come.

Yeah this is getting funded. Really wish they would let us nab the stretch goals as add-ons. Want them so bad but just can't justify ordering more than two of these. Would happily give them 20$ a figure for the stretch goals tho.
