I’m pretty sure it’s an all or nothing deal considering 3.75. I really doubt that if Hasbro loses the license they can still do 3.75”.

I think 3.75" can survive even if the license fragments more. It already has to a degree, with Bandai making Star Wars stuff in Japan and Sideshow having the 1/6 license in the US.
Hasbro knows there's money to be had in TVC based on the millions they got for the Sail Barge. I wouldn't discount them being very stupid but there's money in the market for the taking. Also Disney makes their own 3.75 stuff still, here's the new exclusive for the new Galaxy's Edge ride, it's an escape pod IIRC: |

I believe 3.75” will carry on, I was replying to Ax who said Hasbro might keep 3.75” even if another company takes over the license.

Is there a comparison pic of all the TVC Boba Fetts somewhere?

It’s just a re release of the ESB card TVC Boba for ten years ago. I don’t think there have been any running changes on the figure. The after market prices had jumped up on the figure so I guess Hasbro and Walmart figures it was a safe bet to produce more.

That would be great for collectors and Hasbro. I wouldn’t pretend to know how well the 6” line is doing. I seem to sell well, and I know from following some newer toy companies that 6” figures are more profitable than 3&3/4”. Personally I was only ever interested in the 3&3/4” and no one does that scale better than Hasbro. If we want more play sets and dream vehicles it’s the save to have. I get my 12” from Sideshow/Hot Toys anyway. If Hasbro can just keep that TVC going for adults and 5 PoA for the kids I think that would be fine.

I would agree that there isn’t anything to it, but a big difference is Mattel hasn’t produced plush Star Wars products before. But I guess anyone and everyone want a piece of Fauxda.

But, the paint job is shit, the plastic feels cheap like the old Kenner vehicles. The electronic sounds are awesome but the interior has very little detailing and is largely just flat, overly glossy plastic. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to have as big a Sandcrawler as is available, and the sounds take me back. There is something very nostalgic about the old Kenner vibe to be honest but I’m not very hopeful or impressed about Disney’s 1/18 scale product so far. I get the impression if Dis year had to replace Hasbro it would be bad. As a suppliement to the line, it’s cool to have a company plugging holes, but I don’t think I’d want Disney to carry the line.

The Sandcrawler was still made by Hasbro, just exclusively for Disney.

Please understand I do love the toy, there is a charming quality to its “cheapness” because it feels like an 80s Kenner toy but again not what I’d like see as the main style for future vehicles. It this was the only way we would have gotten a new and much needed larger Sand Crawler then I’m all for it.
