This is great! All your choices - from the MTF lowers to the Ret Roadblock buck with the shoulder harness - are perfect.
Since I’ve been working on an MTF Backblast, I can really appreciate the attention to ARAH details (like the brown gloves and belt, the bicep knife you wisely moved to the calf, etc.). Great inclusion of the original accessories. Some characters really need them, and this is one of them. Nice use of the MTF earphones with the 50th painted Dusty helmet to recreate the original too. Very nice job on the sticker. I’m assuming it’s a water slide. I ordered a set but haven’t had the time to try them. Hopefully mine will turn out as well as yours. Perfect diorama piece for pictures with this character - did you make it? My only feedback would be that head is very much Ret Roadblock / The Rock / Dwayne Johnson. I’d imagine you want to keep it as the skin tone matches. I’d suggest you get a q-tip with acetone and give him a bit of a shave. The ARAH had a stache that was a bit like Hulk Hogan. I’d suggest removing the center gotten paint on the chin and doing the same here. If it looks good it would differentiate him from Ret RB and make him more ARAH detailed. Like I said, I really like this. Very well thought out. Great job. Last edited by Dod Ear; 11-18-2019 at 04:49 PM.. |
