I'm actually betting on a similar price dip in the vein of the one we saw with the release of the ME figures, as collectors both dump and stop buying the older lines and focus their budgets on the new. Granted, the "bubble" won't burst, but I'd expect some lower prices, at least temporarily. I'd also suspect the moderns will dip as well, save the exclusives... of course, this is all on the shaky assumption that we'll see another fully articulated 4" line. If they're 6" or worse, 5 poa, those prices will continue to climb, at least until we're in our 60's and there's no one left that cares about buying them.

Yea I think alot of it is going to hinge on the type of line they release. I fully agree there. Honestly my hope is they stick with the ME 50th type figures and come up with some interesting vehicles. I do not know how many vehicles are going to be feature in a Snake Eyes movie though since it is based more on martial arts than large scale military conflicts.

I've read (don't remember where), that the vehicles from that year were produced in low numbers. (I'm happy to have found all those figures already).

Same here, though as I've posted all over the board, I'm at heart an ARAH fan and am just now starting to appreciate the ME figures, so in my perfect lil dreaworld, in addition to that 50th stuff, I'd really love to see the o ring embraced again- and not just redecos( though I'd buy em), but some full on new characters. I know better of course, but hey, we can all dream, right?

If the line is 5 POA then I’m a complete pass, but even with ME articulation, I’m not really looking for 10 more SEs. However, the fact that there is another Joe movie is cause for celebration enough. |

I think the figs, unfortunately, could be the only downside of a new movie and the associated brand exposure.
