Initially I wasn't hot to drop eighty dollars on a Dreadnok'ed out AT-ST. The figure looked great but not eighty bucks great. I ended up getting it for two reasons.
I have not been buying any toys based off of Disney's inception of Star Wars save Rogue 1. Rogue 1 felt sincere. Sorry Hasbro I know it's not your fault. Disney had been dictating character selections to you. Well I was pretty happy with the first episode of the Mandalorian. I would not have paid for a subscription but was offered one for free and wanted to give Faverau a chance. Jon didn't disappoint. So I decided to put my money where my mouth is and show Hasbro/Disney that good entertainment will be rewarded. I was happy that Best Buy had a few of these in stock and in mint condition. I was surprisingly pleased to find some new figures as well. My collecting had become dependent on Etailers. Though convenient, toys arriving at my doorstep is not as fun as hunting them in the wild. Enter Best Buy. Today was one of the happiest days in my recent toy collection memory. Today I walked into the shopping mall that I had known since the 70's. As a kid I'd hit their now defunct Kay bee for video games, toys, and D&D modules. Since the fall of Kay Bee I haven't had many occasions to go there. Today, I bought a Star Wars toy in a vintage styled box. I paid cash. Enjoyed the sights, sounds, and smells of the old mall. Grabbed a cup of tea (milk and one sugar, before you ask) to ward of the cooling of the day as the sun began to set. With tea in hand sauntered home on a brisk Fall day. Good times. I wish there could be more like it. I miss buying good toys at brick and mortar stores. Hopefully Best Buy will have more Star Wars exclusives. I'd like to make that walk again.

Nice story CC!!!. I don't collect SW, but that shadow trooper may end up at home at some point. That is awesome.

Nice CC. I like that Ceremony Leia. I’ve seen negative comments about her but I’m pretty happy with the look of the figure. I haven’t found a 2nd one to open yet but I’m sure I will soon.
I saw two Shadow Troopers at Wal Mart but left them because I’m too afraid I’d go down that rabbit hole. Troop building easily becomes an obsession for me. Once I start lining them up next to each other I want to keep adding to them.

I saw the Dagobah cave 3 pack at Target.
Kind of a cool package but I can’t stand the weird looking arms on that Luke and I have no use for the Vader so I passed it up. $39.99 for the 3 pack.

It’s a re-release of another figure so why we complaining now and not before?

Oh trust me there had been complaints. I’d wager that there are more complaints now because folks are more forgiving of a bad figure than a second release of a bad figure. Hasbro seems to be improving these re releases so I guess many collectors were hoping for an improved version of this. Dagobah Luke is very popular.
