I keep coming back to look at this incredibly evil-looking beast - it’s so overwhelmingly cool, and reminds me of a great black wasp. The Joes don’t stand a chance

Thanks guys Quote:
LOL, yes this one took a while to get finished but I did finish and post 40 or 50 other vehicles in the last few years while this one was simmering. Quote:
Well my first thought for a name was Dragonfly but that has the obvious issues. Second was Wasp but while it really covered the look well it just did not seem to fit just did not feel strong enough for the beast. I also considered naming it the Fang Juggernaut.

Hornet sounds mean if you want to stay in that vein.

On this one the rocket launchers were a little bit of all of those things. I knew I wanted a huge amount of rocket launchers but at first I was not sure how to accomplish it. Then I found the materials to make the tubes but neither of the materials were compatible with my normal build procedure. So preparing to put them together in a method that was out of the norm took some procrastinating. Also the wings both front and back were not able to use chemical weld on. So the rocket pods required some shoe goo for the stuff that was not at much risk of pulling loose and then every item had to be drilled (actually I prefer hot point melting the holes) and screwed which is a very slow process compared to chemical welding.

A bit weak on firepower but might be good for recon.
Nice work!
