I don't want to say I "Collected" when I was younger. I had lots of them, but I played with them extensively. I never considered them as something that should be preserved. I really do wish I had held on to some of them. I had all the originals. Scarlet, Rock n Roll, Cobra Commander, etc etc etc.

Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jeremy. and I have loved G.I. Joes since I had them in the 80s and 90s. As we grow up I gave them away then fell back in love with them in my first marriage and purchased a few, but alas those went the way as well. I have decided to get back into them gradually and start off by trying to collect all the cobra viper figures in the different versions. So Far I was able to acquire the Cobra viper v8 blue and purple from 2002 and the Cobra INfantry v1 from 1998 that is blue. If anyone can help me acquire the rest like these would be amazing.

Welcome! That's a great idea to start off with. The Cobra Vipers are some of the greatest cannon fodder of all time.

Welcome to the Tank Jeremy! That is basically the same way I've decided to get back into collecting is by first concentrating on the troop builders, so I think that's a good idea.

If you’re looking for vintage figures, Sataninjaku has a bunch for sale. You might wanna check out his buy/sell/trade. Here’s the link: http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ml#post5217123 Last edited by Yeet; 09-14-2019 at 06:44 PM.. |

Hi everybody! I'm Cason, and I'm a fan since the 80's. I spent the majority of the 2000-2013 retail line with a decent income and no kids, so I collected a lot then as well, but now that my son is playing with my Joes, I find him gravitating towards the vintage (and rerelease) O-ring stuff. I find myself not caring too much about my "modern" figures either. They look fantastic, but don feel like real toys, but collectables. I have a few Factory Produced Customs, and love 'em.
Anyway, with the SE movie and the possibility of an evergreen line, figured the time was right to join Hisstank. |
