Thanks. for the wings...
the frame : I used thin wire then coated it with pro create putty, as you can see, I can bend it freely, pro create putty is flexible putty, I mostly use it on hair. the wings: I used parachute from Retaliation Flint. flat iron it first to remove the wrinkles (put cloth on top of it or else the iron will melt it) coat it with Pr1mero, it's kind of water sealant, like a paste so I can leave some texture effect on it. and lastly, the connector to the figure. I used those joints from gundam. For the wings to have articulation (so it can flap!). drill a hole on the back of figure and thats where I pin the wings. I'll post the picture of the WIP of the wings here.

Ares works really well as a base, I had considered using head, but didn't realize how great the whole body worked!
Would love to see the WIP pictures of the wings, those are amazingly well done!
