Well, MJ said the better value is on the infantry and solid colored figure sets since they come with the most gear. The MG and officer figures don't come with much, and really only give you an alt hat, bandolier or helmet. In the case of the Japanese officer, you get a different head. Those are all items you can just get a la carte off the Marauder site when these items go live, so I'm sticking to singles of officers and doubles of MG figures (BAR, Type 99, MG42).
I'll probably find a way to swap in another Navy Corpsman (and possibly a Flamethrower), because that gear would be costly to buy piece-meal. |

Yeah, I'd agree on the standard riflemen figures being the better value. The average count for accessories (based on what was shown in the KS campaign) is 10.
The Germans have the best value in terms of accessory count (13, 13, and 13), though this balanced by the officer, who has the lowest count (4). MJ has stated that the officer will come with something more, which wasn't shown as it was not sculpted in time (so not something in the paint master breakdown). The other officers are also low (each with 7). The Japanese machine gunner is also low (7) and does not compare favourably with his counterparts (who are at or close to the average). I really think the Japanese guy should come with something more. With this guy wearing the cap with neck flaps I'd love to get more of him, but it's probably more cost effective to get the other IJA figure and buy extras of the cap later. I've started to think about which heads to go where as well, to avoid having the same guys wearing the same heads. I might actually prepare the way and get a few of the existing MTF heads. There's a bearded one available that might go well with the Russian machine gunner's ushanka as "Reznov" from Call of Duty World At War. |

I'm managing my pick-6... It's not quite the same level of absurdity.
