It's a half-assed cardboard background, pretty much the same things we got free built into the boxes during the 25th era. And it's packed with three half-assed figures, inferior versions to what we already have or have seen in the concept case. This exclusive is the very definition of half-assed.
On the other hand, if you want to fill in your collection with awesome, must-have figures like Raptor, Big Boa, Laser-Viper, Desert Scorpion, etc., the club has got your back. I wouldn't trade three average figures from the club for this silly, cornball thing that is not only outdated now, but was a half-assed, outdated product when it came out.

I really look forward to this as I've never owned one. I kinda want it to be plastic but cardboard is what it was originally made of so it will be a nice experience opening it up and putting it together as if I was back in the 80's with an original. The price is fantastic. I fucking love vintage packaging. I told my buddy at work I was going to try and get him one. Hopefully this isn't a popular draw for the scalpers.

I'm excited about the set. I don't have the original and could never afford it in the condition I want. The officer is better than any version we have so far, but the best thing about it is the price. I'd much rather have smaller joe only sets like this than another TF crossover for $100+. I hope to get my hands on at least a couple sets if I can get them at cost from HTS.

Id like to have one. Cardboard? Meh...doesn't make much difference to me. It's more of a classic callback than anything else. Sure, it's dopey...but that's kinda what I like about it.

It's a neat throwback. Remember seeing it in the Sears catalogue and not being too thrilled about it, but wouldn't mind getting one for nostalgia's sake.

It look like this is going to be the more desired Joe item of 2017...

Sometimes i hate being a non-american Joe collector. This is going to cost me an arm and a leg on the secondary market. Ugh..

Being cardboard it might ship cheap by being low mass.
Another option other than laminating is possibly a clear plastidip type spray? I am looking for ways to make my opener last guys. I ant it out behind a terror drome eventually.
