There were heavy rumors that it was ending with issue 200...yet here we are, 32 issues later. Looking back on it now, I kinda' wish it had ended with issue 200.
I would guess that any omission from a month's solicitations may be due to production issues. The title's been late a few times since the relaunch.

well, i am VERY happy that arah is not being cancelled but leading up to some big events in 250. i'm sorry, gang, but i made it through the "ninja force/transformer days- the idw stuff, while it does have it's problems, will make, for myself, a better final era for my favorite continuity cannon in comics. and, i hope 250 isn't even close to the end. i just want more post-2001 designs utilized and LOTS MORE COBRA COMMAND!

The current arc is one of the best of the Hama run. The story centered around Dawn and the sub plot around the disappearance of Bombstrike have me hooked and wanting to know what happens next. When Black Major shot Bombstrike in the head I swore out loud. In the back of my mind I always have this fear that Hama will kill someone off. By doing it in the past you know anyone is pretty much fair game. Especially now that the comic and toy line are not tied together any more. New characters like Dawn and Throwdown keep the comic fresh and interesting but you don't know what they are going to do. Claire Hauser turned out to be a lot more than she appeared to be is she a Stockholmed programmed traitor? Is she more like Burkhart and stands on her principles?
Personally I am a little disappointed that Dawn has allied herself with the Arashikage. There must be some pretty bad memories in her head of when Tommy "Storm Shadow" Arashikage was in Cobra... I mean he did capture Scarlett and lock her in a literal dungeon.

I must be in the minority.
Honestly yeah I wasn't a huge fan of the giant eyeball. And I didn't really like the pass off of the Snake Eyes mantle. Correction...actually would have been OK with Sean taking over the mantle of SE if it wasn't such quick / easy hand off, as if SE could be replaced so easily. But otherwise Im enjoying this run. |

i REALLY don't understand why there is so much hate for the continuity that we, in the past, loved. i wish the reads were longer but i have enjoyed 155.5-present much more than ddp or idw's revamp. and i didn't hate the eye as much as i hated revanche stealing cobra space. i have lived my life deep within the comic medium but ARAH is one of the few i still read and enjoy.

If they were smart, they could do 0.5 issues, like issue 1.5, 32.5 etc... they've done it a few times and it could really work, I'd love to see the aftermath of Marvel issue 1 before they went to issue 2. See Cobra Commander and the Baroness land and treat his wrist and plot their next scheme, like the robot from issue 3.

ARAH, has been going away for a long time. I was happy it continued..but sadly, there comes a time when something has run it's course and even the writers are running out of ideas.
the Toy line is pretty much the same. Hasbro..or more so Mark Weber wants to take Joe in another direction. I welcome change. Means possibly new characters, new designs for old characters.. my only stipulation.. keep the characters names and personalities that have already been established.. I.e. Rock n Roll being a surf rocker from Malibu, Footloose being a hippy.
