I think it was just a misstep and a correction.
However, The idea did cross my mind that there could have been a "self made hero" plot in play. V2.0 was always going to be the fss choice. They only showed v1.0 to have us complain so they could "fix it" and show how willing they are to deliver the figures we want, the way we want them. But, what if, they created v2.0 knowing full well they couldn't get access to the tooling, so created v1.0 to soften the blow and they could say they tried. Then at the 11th hour, the tooling becomes available, but causes a production delay and the ships are stuck in a Chinese port which causes the figures to finally be delivered in 2019.

Come on. Has the Club ever done ANYTHING to give the impression that they're clever enough to intentionally pull off a scam of any sort whatsoever?

$80.00 for the old snake figure set?! $400.00 for 13 kit bashed repaints? Two week to sigh up, one year to wait for them?. Hello! The club = winning! Last edited by Indiana Joe; 08-31-2016 at 08:18 PM.. |

So unsold merchandise means it's a clever scam? Those jetpacks as well as Old Snake are currently still sitting around in their store, yet to be sold. If that's a win, I'd hate to see defeat.

The club has a long track record of failure across the board. Attempted scamming is still scamming. |

I literally laughed out loud (I refuse to type "lol") when I saw the price they were charging for those sets. Oh, and the best part is, they have both Joe and Cobra themed sets. So they expect you might be willing to shell out $110 just on friggin' jet packs. (I seriously hope I don't lose my composure one day and actually buy them; I'd be humiliated.)
By comparison, $20 for 20 clear figure stands isn't unreasonable, though. In fact, I was actually thinking of contacting the Club to see if they'd do movie-style clear stands too. And some of the other unsold exclusives (like the H.A.V.O.C. II, Wave Crusher, and poly-bagged Dr. Mindbender) are semi-reasonably priced, and on my list of things to purchase.

So are you guys stocking up on Tin Foil or what?
probably what happened was the club Thought "Tee Shirt most important detail" and used the resolute Beachhead body with that thought in mind and when they got the feedback scrapped it for the more generally accepted build. This new coke bs is making yall look crazy.
