Good stuff. I never liked it so when the POC QK came out, I replaced my 25th with him.

I think I'm going to go the path of least resistance and take truejoefan up on his offer. I'll probably put my defective one up for grabs once I get a B/S/T thread active.
Thanks much to everyone who's commented (even the sarcastic ones!). @Nighthawk: Clever job on modifying the elbows to bend further. I can't stand it when a figure's elbows don't bend the full 90 degrees (Blowtorch barely manages 45 degrees). I'm too much of a purist/coward to modify my figures similarly, but I have to say I'm impressed with the results. Last edited by MagicWazard; 06-29-2016 at 04:46 PM.. |

Well, I got the spare torso parts from truejoefan, but it turns out the left arm was a bit loose, so I wound up resorting to torso splitting to get a set of good arms. I put some feedback on the results of splitting this figure on the torso splitting guide in case anyone out there is curious.
The good news is, I have a complete, perfect-enough Quick Kick for the first time since I got the figure 7 or 8 years ago! The joints are tight, the seams are mostly flush, and the plastic discoloration is minimal. I'm quite thrilled about that, even if the figure itself is only a so-so figure by modern standards. It's nice to finally have some closure. Anyways, the leftover parts are up for grabs FOR FREE is anyone is interested. This includes the following: *Head (slightly crazy eyes) *Upper torso front and back (back has suffered a bit of stress discoloration) *Abdomen (the abs have also suffered a bit of stress discoloration} *Two left arms (hence the thread) If anyone is interested, comment, and I'll PM you. I'll even cover the shipping. |

I'd be in for those parts if they aren't spoken for.

I have a TF Bazooka with two right arms! He's a hell of a good hand shaker. But, I'm ready for a change. Let's talk! Last edited by Indiana Joe; 07-24-2016 at 10:20 AM.. |

Ohh that's not Quick-Kick, that's his reclusive older brother, Quick Left. He's a rare find.
Obviously JK, sorry to hear that man.

No need for apologies, it all got worked out in the end. (I was gonna say something about a "happy ending", but after that URL, that seemed less than appropriate.) I just hope that the guys with the TF Bazookas get their issues worked out. It's like the greatest co-incidence ever that the two of them happened to bump into each other here. Makes me wonder if we ought to have a thread dedicated to mismatched limbs/extremities, if we don't already, just for situations like this. |
