Don't have my NES anymore, but still kept the cartridges. Great memories, always thought these games were underrated during the day. Wouldn't it be great if we could get videogame versions of the figures used in the game...alla NECA!

I have both GI Joe NES games and enjoy them very much. I like the first one better than the second one (The Atlantis Factor) overall though. I like how the first one has 3 quests, all of which I have completed.
I don't know if I would purchase figures, as the original toys the games are based on are good enough for me for now.

Count me in as one that just purchased the 1 in 150 cartridge.
Now I'm ready to play those 2 Joe games again!

I only played Atlantis Factor. I wasn't aware when I was a kid that there was a first game. Atlantis Factor is pretty fun. There's plenty of recognizable enemies and bosses. The music's also pretty memorable in a number of the stages and leveling up your attacks is fun. Over-all it's a solid NES game, with multiple routes to take and characters to play as.

I don't have my NES anymore so I can't even buy this and use it. I traded my original NES a long time ago for a sealed Night Force Night Striker.

When I was a kid I loved the NES GIJoe game. I rented that so many times, just loved it. I searched for a couple years trying to find it at any of the local stores. Never did, never saw the Atlantis Factor in stores either or at the rentals.
About 13 years ago I stupidly threw out my old NES thinking it was broke and wouldn't work. I bought the retron and the Joe NES games. Got about half way through the game and it stopped working. Had that burnt plastic smell. So I bought a "new" used NES on ebay, started playing all my old NES games. Even found a bunch of my old game codes, some for the Joe games even. It was a pretty awesome feeling having those codes and being able to pick up where I left off as a kid. Eventually that NES stopped working exactly the same as my old one, but the guy I bought it from included a replacement slot thingy and instructions to switch them out. Turns out for less than two or three dollars I could of fixed my old NES with a replacement slot thingy. Oh well. I don't use the old NES anymore, gave my old CRT TV to a friend and got a flatscreen. Don't play the NES on it for fear it'll ruin the tv. Wish now I had kept that old tv. |

You could also play Nintendo games on what are called Emulators, which are free to download or play online depending on which site you go to. Vizzed.com comes to mind as an example of one.
