I think a Cold Slither scene would benefit ANY movie!

I'm confused about the criticism because GI Joe, Mask, and Transformers should go together like peanut butter and chocolate. The first three Transformer movies already had a huge military component. You could have called them GI Joe with no changes whatsoever to the plot.
Micronauts, I'm less sure about. I'm not familiar with this series at all. And as always, I am less concerned with the premise than the outcome. Marvel has demonstrated that they can take even the most obscure comics (Guardians) and literary botches (Civil War) and spin it into gold. This has less to do with the premise and more to do with the skill and effort they put forth. Whether Hasbro can pull it off remains to be seen, but I am optimistic. |

This part of the article gives me hope for some new Joe's in the near future.
Brian stated that the Fan Community is now a significant factor in revenue. Over 20% Hasbro Products are purchased by or for people who are 16 years or older. There will be Fan Specific Products in the future.

I am curious how they will connect Visionaries with GI Joe and MASK. I'm not familiar with Micronauts and Rom. But Visionaries was set on another planet, unless they set it on Earth in the past.

With the exception of Transformers and MAYBE GI Joe, those other franchises have seen so little attention, Hasbro has a blank slate. They WILL change, they will probably change DRAMATICALLY from what fans believe they should be. Visionaries may end up the magical counterpart to GI Joe, yet, still set on current Earth. Akin to how Dr. Strange is exploring the magical side to a Marvel Universe we've primarily seen as straight superhero. But I guarantee that these, relatively, unknown properties are going to stray FAR from what many fans want these films to be. We'll see how this works out.

That really comes back to a fundamental issue that fans of ALL the properties need to accept:

Oh and by the way that now Hasbro said in public that they recognize the collector community and will focus on give them specific products.

I am more curious about the scale they will make these new figures in. Crossover or not, a smaller scale changes things.
