I'd say Renegades Law & Order is a damn fine one (from the photos I have seen...if I ever get a chance to lay my hands on one at a sane price, I hope to find out first-hand).

I'll say the few I was most pleasantly surprised with were the updated Airtight & Techno Viper, new figures would be Renegades Cobra Trooper & Sightline (Gary Goggles tribute figure - is a generic troopbuilder for me).

for me it has to be Renegades/30th Airtight , I loved the original and when my 85 figure was stolen from me as a child, I was heartbroken. fortunately 2 weeks later I discovered that the culprit was one of my mother's friends who was stealing my joes and giving them to her kids. i mounted a raid and re-stole back the figures that were stolen from me. i still have that airtight figure to this day. when I saw the updated modern version I was over the moon, and still am now.

I'm going to go against the grain here and throw out a troop builder:
The Snow Serpent - here is a humble troop builder who just kept getting better with age. I had one of the ARAH Snow Serpents as my one and only 3.5" Joe for many years before he was lost in a move. He was an impressive sculpt for the time, but was easily bested by the modern 25th version with great colors and ME articulation. Then Hasbro took him one step further with the RoC version - adding the cool camo scheme, pulse rifle and pick. All this in a troop builder - awesome. |

Believe it or not...my favorite ME figure would hae to be CRAZY LEGS. I was excited when I found him at retail. Awesome sculpt and a great addition to my Joe line-up. Plus he has one of THE best code-names.

Probably not anything outrageous here, but Kwinn does it for me. When I was a kid I never understood why there was not a Kwinn figure as he was in the comics and was a cool character. I still don't know why there wasn't one. Does anyone have a backstory on the reason? the modern one captures exactly what I wanted as a kid, and it's a nice sculpt with cool accessories, including an Ulu and a danged old bear trap!

There are so many I love. Best might be zarana. Best recent figures for me are sdcc flint and tiger force frostbite. The best overlooked figure to this day for me is poc dessert storm shadow, this figure is so outside the box badass. Hard to believe I didn't buy it right away.
Also love carded hit & run, lifeline, lowlight, crazy legs, beach head....ahhhhh It's to difficult to have just one.

There are a ton of ME figs I love but one of the surprise figs I love is v39 SS. Seriously, what is the deal? Is SS a desert nomad ninja? Yet I love the figure and the accessories because he looks so cool.
