Continuing with my Star Wars phase in lieu of the new movie, a tribute to the Star Wars Legacy comic book and my favorite character from that series, Darth Nihl.
Initially I honestly just wanted to purchase the figure on Ebay but when I saw the hefty price tag for a figure that has limited articulation I just decided to build my own. I decided to try my hand at sculpting more intricate pieces and let me tell you my hat goes off to all the guys who sculpt in the 4 inch scale, it is no easy task by any means. I only wish to improve at it now that I have a basic understanding of it. Thanks for checking this out as usual, you guys rock! |

This is awesome! Such a cool character and you totally nailed his look! I would love to see you have a go at a highly articulated Revan.

Wow...looks amazing man! =)
Can you tell me, how do you add the articulation to this figures? I wanna have a well articulated Boba Fett, but I know its gonna be a custom anyway...so the hard part of it for me the articulation..mostly the thighs.

For Your project I would suggest finding an articulated G.I. Joe that has similar folds and clothes as a Mandalorian and then dremel out the armor parts as much as possible then glue them on to the joe figure, then let the paints do the rest of the effect. I want to do that to the new Star Wars 5 poa Storm troopers for practice. |

Thank you my friend!
Not the answer I was looking for, but thx for the idea. So...find a blank G.I.Joe..and "skin him up".

Yeah I think that would work man, maybe a modern era Iron Grenadier would work, they look very mandalorian then add Boba Fett's armor to the chest arms and legs. It would look good I think.
