I'm happy they're 5 POA, hasbro just saved me a ton of money. I'll be picking up some 6" figs, but even the 4" vehicles are unimpressive.

Or marketing. Make the product seem scarce to provide the illusion that it's "super hot!"

those are the ones with a "backpack" accessory thing that pops over their heads like a fisher price imaginext gear. the "basic" figures are about $8. the figure itself is 5 POA with or without backpack gear. the SA figures (so far just kylo and a trooper) that are walmart exclusives have not dropped yet.

Unfortunately, this is the most likely scenario. Controlled panic that will push people to buy more than they normally would and encourage hoarders and scalpels that will end up with a bunch of worthless toys when the Christmas stock comes. Black Friday will be the real push day, Force Friday was a marketing stunt that was about buzz, not about getting products to fans.

I'm going out soon to look and I'm confused. Is there a shortage of product?

Seems really random between stores and people saying what they found. |

Just got back. My TRU was still pretty stocked. Saw most of what you guys have been talking about. There were at least 5 collectors in the aisle when I arrived. I let them load up and then took a look for myself when the left. I don't mind the 5poa (I'm old) but there wasn't anything that struck me as a "must have". Maybe once I see the movie I'll pick some up to through in with my old Kenner stuff but I can wait. I did pick up a Bossk and Stormtrooper Masher for my son for X-Mas. These are cool. I can see myself picking up all the OT figures...you know, for the kids
