After what i consider to be a successful attempt to MASK vehicles, heres my next MASK project. Found this 1/18 scale dumptruck and opted to make either OUTLAW or BULLDOG. But i didnt have a big enough container to I transformed it to BULLDOG.
Still missing smoke stack lasers and the front chainsaw. But everything else is there: - Cab slips back and roof opens as well as the front tilting 45 degrees upward - Bumper flips down to reveal 2 laser cannons - Cannon with hook like missiles at the back - Fits 2 G.I. Joe figures. I also got a ferrari and a mustang. I plan to make the mustang into stinger. Any suggestions for the ferrari? was thinking either a modernized version of SHARK (instead of a Porche 928) or Raven (instead of a corvette) thoughts? |

Looking good. How are you planning on doing the tank tracks? I too have several MASK vehicles lined up to make but have not yet started to piecing together a Bulldog. Cant wait to see it done.

in this toy, the chasis is too thin to swing in and keep the tires inside/center. im planning to probably just have an external tank treads to cover the rear tires |

The Raven could be updated to a Ferrari. Don't think old Calhoun Burns would mind it at all. Nice work on the Bulldog. Although not entirely accurate, it is a damn good attempt and personally give it an A rating for getting as close as you did. Making me want to break out my M.A.S.K. toys now. Lol

Personally when making MASK vehicles, I never try to make them exact replicas of the original. Aside from being virtually impossible due to the spring loaded nature of the original, I just like putting my own spin and improvements. For instance my Rhino is most likely going to have the single missile replaced by the Wolverine missile launcher. I could do the big single missile but it would not be as good in my opinion.

i think your idea is way better and more functional if it were a real truck |

I love MASK but there were a lot of things that I feel need fixed when I make a MASK vehicle. For instance, I have a 57 Chevy waiting to make Hurricane but I am still working out how I want to handle the turret because I really do not like the way the original is set up.
