I think I'm only on my 2nd spool of filiment, and I didn't start with a full spool, so, somewhere between $45 and $60 so far. probably over $100 by the time it's done. But if you figure in time, it'll easily exceed 50 - 60 hours of print time.
once i'm settled on a final design, i can pull the estimates out of the models for the filament use and time. |

Progress report:
Status: Work-In-Progress Here's the latest. Reworked and printed the spine which came out much better. Still need to do some clean up, but you see where it is now. I know it's still unfinished, but can you stand a ME Joe next what you have so far?

This is pretty cool. What amazing things people can make with some software skills and a 3D printer.
You should include a photo or two of the progress with a 1:6 scale figure too. If this is going to be a desktop display, wow, you have a big desk.

It's always fun to see where people are from on here. I grew up in Colorado Springs (well, 9 years anyway). I miss it, but man has it changed since we left in 92. |
