I have HATED these figures with a passion since I've known they've existed (was out of Joe in 1988). However, with my new fine-tuned perspective, these figures have gone so far past putrid, they've come out the other side, shining like a highly-prized bronze turd. ;)
I think I have all the must haves: Lunartix Empire Manimals Cobra-La Monstro Viper Bio Viper Added new members to the "club!" Robo-Joe Dinosaur Hunters with "Well, bless my soul" dino Toxo-Zombie Venomous Maximus What would make YOUR "Jump the Shark" list?

I love these! I have all except the Manimals, which I regret not grabbing at Kay-Bee the many times I saw them. Cool little bizarro-Joe collection and display!

none of that sci-fi stuff is "jumped the shark" to me- Fatal Fluffies were part of the earliest Joe stories- so for me i think it was Ninja Force that said "we're out of ideas" let's just make everyone a ninja.

All of that stuff is bad, but Cobra-La is in my mind started the franchise down that path.

I voted other, because I'd rather have a rock sitting on my shelf than any of those choices. Btw I do have some rocks sitting on my shelf, so don't laugh.

Tough decision for me, but I chose the Monstro-Viper. It's 6" tall and feels like a cheap MOTU toy. The dumb "gut bomb" feature, complete with playdoh and interior gut mold takes the top spot for me.
I agree that Cobra-La started the craziness for me. I refused to consider them when I was a kid. Ironically, the DNA cloned Serpentor never bothered me; heck, I loved that character!

Cobra-La signaled the end of the line for me as a kid. I laugh because if they released a modern set now I would buy it without hesitation. Funny how aging changes your tastes in things :p
