In case you weren't aware, our friend MWB has released another Ultimate Guide to add to your collection. This one is sure to be a must have along side his Ultimate Guide to Transformers, Ultimate Guide to G.I.Joe, Totally Tubular 80s Toys, etc.
The Ultimate Guide to Star Wars: 1977-1985 is out now we're pleased to share a few pages with you here. MWB has also been kind enough to agree to a brief interview, but we thought it would be more fun to allow you Tankers a chance to ask MWB a question. There are some ground rules for the questions, so check'em out: 1. Short and Sweet - We're not submitting a tl;dr question. A couple of sentences, tops. 2. Keep it relevant - The focus should be on the The Ultimate Guide to Star Wars: 1977-1985 or Star Wars as a whole. We may sneak in a few other toy related questions if they're good though, so ;) 3. Be polite! - Yes, it's a well known fact that MWB is a New England Patriots fan. You shouldn't let this disgusting fact stop you from asking questions, but make sure they're classy! (if possible, hold your pinky up while typing out your question). Post your questions, comments or concerns in the thread below! Now, on to the Star Wars sexiness. Check out these pages from the book, then head over to Amazon and get your copy NOW! The Ultimate Guide to Star Wars: 1977-1985 |

I was fortunate enough to preorder this from he publisher and get an advanced book copy. This is another excellent guide from Mark. Comparable to the GI Joe guide. If you ever had any SW toys in the past, pick this up! Well worth it.

Hey FFG, would you like to toss in any questions to throw Mark's way? Anything on the book that you loved or disliked? The mic is yours (until the next person gets here, that is ) |

I just placed an order for 4 copies of Mark Bellomo Star Wars book. I am keeping 2, then giving the other 2 away to friends as gifts.
I can't believe how much the GI Joe toy books and Transformers toy books sell for on 2nd market. I was at one collectible toy/comic store a few months ago and they had the 2007 Transformer you book for $125.00??? The GI Joe books online go for $50-75. |

This one will undoubtedly raise in price as well. Cobra80, you are no where near kidding, either. My Wife wanted to pick up the Transformers guide for me for Christmas, but decided against it as it was $127. |

Both of my GI Joe and Transformers guides are pretty well read, I doubt they would command a high price on the after market. The two guides are great reference material and I have no doubt the Star Wars one will be a great guide too. Plus with the new Movie coming next December, this one will also be a well sought out book as well.

Interesting. I'd like to get one.
I have the Droid Factory, and its amazing how cheap the original price on something like that was. I also didn't remember the lightsabre color swap on the 12" figures. My Luke has the yellow one, and Ben has the blue one. I honestly didn't know they were opposite of the 3 3/4" figures. Wacky. |
