Rachel Nichlols cast as female lead in new CONAN film.

I think this is pretty cool casting.

She was a decent Scarlett in GI JOE.

I've also been "impressed" by Nichols ever since she played the babysitter in the AMITYVILLE remake.

And...

Stephen Lang is also in talks to play the lead villain- Khalar Singh

So the set cast thus far is...

Jason Momoa- Conan
Mickey Rourke- Corin (Conan's dad)
Bob Sapp- The Villainous Ukafa
Rachel Nichols- Tamara ( the lead female warrior and love interest to Conan)

Love to see Lang snatch up the main villain role. I've liked him ever since BAND OF THE HAND.

Lang is one of the most underrated character actors pretty much ever.

I was hoping Nichols could be Red Sonja. Granted she doesn't have the epic proportions of a young Bridgitte Nielsen (who seems to have been born to play that one role) but, at least, Nichols doesn't have Flavor Flav cooties

Rose McGowan thus far, is still attached to play the new RED SONJA, with Robert Rodriguez directing.

I think Rose McGowan has lost it. When she was on Nip/Tuck she looked like she did not age well.
