ive never even thumbed thru the book...but, when youve been even interested in comics anytime in the last 20yrs, youve likely seen these characters at some point.
seems the diehards are already complaining about not enough spandex...whatever...as a person who has a slight working knowledge of watchmen and its characters....i think they look pretty cool. |

I wonder if those "diehards" who are complaining about the costumes have even read the book. They could be all dressed in bathrobes. As long as the STORY is faithful, it will change the superhero film genre just as the book changed the comic book superhero genre.

I've read Watchmen several times, and read lots of info about it, and I think the costumes look fine. Ozymandias is maybe a touch overdone, but his gold armor/purple robe deal might not translate well to three dimensions anyway. I don't have high expectations for the movie solely because adapting it to the screen is going to be really hard, and I don't know enough about Zack Snyder's ability; I'm not a 300 fan, though I know he adapted it faithfully, Watchmen is exponentially more complex.
Anyway, these pics are cool.

Looks good so far...I think some of the heroes look to pretty...but its to early to tell.
