I'm on a South Korean war movies roll right now, at the moment, R-Point is the best, its a great war-horror movie about a lost platoon, here's a trailer of it:
Someone Dear is Far Away is a close second for me, a wife goes to look for her MIA husband in Vietnam by being a singer to entertain troops: |

Joker:"No I'm a combat corespondent." Animal Mother: "You seen much combat?" Joker: "Seen a little on TV." Animal Mother: "You're a real comedian" Joker: "well they call me the Joker" Animal Mother:"Well I've got joke for you. I'm gonna tear you a new asshole." Joker:"Well pilgrum only after ya eat the peanuts out of my sit." "I wanted to see exotic Veit Nam, the jewel of Southeast Asia. I wanted to meet interesting and stimulating people of ancient culture, and kill them. I wanted to be the first kid on my block with a confirmed kill" Joker I always felt Platoon was the overrated one among the big three on cable at the time (HH, FMJ, Platoon)

I'd say FMJ or Platoon. Good morning Vietnam was good too. Hell, I guess they were all pretty good movies in my opinion.
